stoney creek is the place where everyone knows your name. me and my family have been regulars at stoney and most everyone that comes in is a regular.at stoney creek you become apart of the family we talk across the room and everyone knows everyone.. we love the food and onwers & staff are the best. the cream of crab is to dead for and the soft shell platter when in season is all i want the entire season. i can't pick just one thing. come be apart of this place come try it for your self sit back and relax.

nasty, won't ever return!!. nasty service, horrible food and just bad. i won't ever step foot in that restaurant and am disappointed after my visit. went to this restaurant based on the diners drive in and dives episode. food was "ick" and crab cakes are mostly filler. why not serve and treat us as good as you treated guy fieri??????

i enjoyed my meal. food was real good. atmosphere could use an update and inside seating is limited. brought my kid and had no problems that are mentioned in other reviews.

food is good, but.... the service, not so much. we had just moved to the area and had a family member in town from florida. we walked in at 5 o'clock on a friday and were asked if we had a reservation. we said no and were told somewhat rudely that we would have to sit outside since they had reservations starting at 7. it was the middle of summer, about 95 degrees outside and we had a baby with us. really, who takes two hours to eat a meal with a baby? we will not be back. that's about $125 per check that my family will spend elsewhere.

a neighborhood favorite!. we've been eating at stoney creek inn shortly after bill and mary bought the restaurant. it very quickly became one of our favorite places to grab a bite to eat. everything on the menu if made to order, fresh and seasoned just right!
if you're looking for a stuffy fine dining experience, don't go to stoney creek inn. you'll find the atmosphere warm and welcoming. the staff is courteous, friendly and very attentive.
we've tried many of the items on the menu and last evening, we decided to try the steamed crabs. we weren't disappointed! fat, juicy crabs, steamed perfectly and not overly seasoned.
if you haven't tried stoney creek, you should! definitely try the cucumber salad, and the hand cut sweet potato fries as sides.
we'll continue to patronize stoney creek, even if it does mean going around the long way while the stoney creek bridge is under repair.

some people. my wife and i have been going to stoney creek for years . always great food and outstanding service . its our favorite place to eat and we live 30 miles away . i see these other reviews , they cant be going to the same place we go !

small town delicious. i've been to the stoney creek inn three times now. the first time was due to its appearance on ddd with my wife. i had the crab cake which was great and had very little filler. it was perfectly crisped and brown on the outside and filled with perfect, lumped blue crab. the last two times, i had the stoney creek burger, and its by far my favorite. it's a bacon cheeseburger covered with crab dip and all the fixings....awesome. i usually get the homemade old bay potato chips as a side. they're always warm and freshly prepared. the inn also has a decent selection of beers on tap. highly recommended!

this was the best cream of crab soup i have ever eaten. i had a food-gasm every time i took a bite. the off the chart creaminess, thickness, and great crab flavor park this soup at the top of the charts. also the crab cake sandwitch was very good. very little filler in the crab cake.

rude service!! i went there with my two children. after waiting, no exaggeration, for 5 minutes, someone finally paid attention to me to ask how many in my party and if i wanted inside or outside seating. i said i preferred inside cause of my kids (it was in the low 60s). the guy said it would be a few minutes while he pushed some tables together. then a woman came by and said they only had outside seating. the guy said, i am going to push some tables together and she said no, we only have outside seating...thats it! what happened to helping out customers?

best crab cake ever! maryland born, maryland raised, lived in maryland most of my life & have probably experienced crab cakes from over 100 establishments in my lifetime. this was by far the best. 3/4 in our party ordered them & we all agreed. i've read the other reviews & for those of you who would like to claim the service is bad, get over your high & mighty self & please go somewhere else to eat. the server wasn't rude; the server was real. although the address is technically baltimore, you're dining in pasadena; the redneck capital of aa county. we appreciated the down-hominess rapport our great server tim had with us.

great food. my family and i eat here frequently and have never received a bad dish. my son, who is now 12, has grown up eating here and never had a bad time. he loves the staff and the food. the crab cakes are delicious and free of filler. their cole slaw is my absolute favorite, homemade by the owner. we have eaten crabs during many different seasons and they have always been excellent. this is a place that knows good, homemade food and friendly family service.
i do not think it is a bad thing when a restaurant asks that your children behave. i have had many a meal ruined by a misbehaving toddler and it is no fun. children are welcome here, they are just expected to behave appropriately.
this is a place that should not be missed for authentic maryland seafood!

beware - don't bring your kids!!. we live in pasadena, and have heard great things about their crab cakes. so, we decided to take the family there tonight. never had a chance to taste the food. by the second time of "somebody who must have never had kids of their own", came over and told our 2 year old son "to keep it down" we were done! he was being a typical 2 year old boy - having fun and coloring. so, needless to say, stoney creek will never be in our plans again. and, i will be sure to spread the word to everyone i know! by the way, people we talk to now, say we never missed much and that place is way overrated. personally, we enjoyed our fish filet at mcdonald's! my kids could just be kids!

i would never set foot in this restaurant again. people with children and real taste buds beware!!! the waitress was kind and helpful, the hostess/owner however corrected my 2 yr.old for being a normal loud 2 yr.old. even an elderly couple sitting near us commented on how good my children were behaving. the food was sub par and overly expensive. we will never return, and we live around the corner.

one in a millon taste !!!!!. have heard great things about stoney creek and had to taste for myself so my wife and i decided to try a new place and guy talk about in the place was warm and very friendly our waitress wonderful "melody" let us know just what the specials were and made us fill at home thank you for the great service and food from the stuff fish the soups the salads just perfect brought food home for a family member and they just love it too thanks so much once again i will tell all my friends and family just how great a job everyone is doing keep it up !!!!!!! :-)
