stella's coffee haus

rude, impersonal. i really like the layout of this place, i just wish that the employees didn't look at everyone around them like they were trash. if you don't have an outgoing personality that's a different thing than having a pretentious attitude. i haven't met everyone but this goes for the majority.

also, the coffee could be better but i'd say service should be focused on first.

this is, by far, my favorite coffee shop in denver. the food is great, the coffee is fantastic, and their location is second to none. i've never received anything less than exceptional service from their employees, and i love that the shop is open late on the weekends.

stella's is a south pearl staple, and it's pretty easy to understand why. the coffee is delicious, the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, and there are always plenty of board games floating around the shop. seating can be a bit tight inside the shop, but if you exit to the side of the building, you'll find the large (and always empty) patio that adjoins stella's to a neighboring bar. although there aren't a ton of food options, the food they do have is fantastic. if you don't mind clogging your arteries, i'd strongly suggest getting a mango italian soda and a slice of their chocolate cake.

there are quite a few coffee shops in denver, but stella's is almost always regarded as one of the best. with great coffee, friendly service, and a killer atmosphere, it's hard to believe why anyone would go anywhere else.

stella's has the best tea i've had in denver so far. they don't have many food options but they are great for late night study sessions. i would prefer if they had more seating options; during finals it gets pretty tight.

attempt 1.. i've recently moved to the neighborhood and happen to be particular about the coffee served at a coffee shop. as a rule of thumb, i start with a cup of drip and move on from there. the cup of coffee i had at stella's was one of the worst i've had in decades recalling the dross perpetrated upon caffeine starved students at the now defunct kiva han cafe near my alma mater.

however, unlike the other reviewers - i found the staff to be friendly and accommodating. the space is great and i plan to give them another shot - i'll report back after i try the food and espresso drink.

very rude. everyone who works in this place is extremely rude. i went for the first time to grab a coffee and the cashiers attitude definitely confirmed that i will not be going to this awful coffee shop ever again. thank goodness there is a starbucks close by!

home away from home. i have been coming to stella's for over a decade and have always had great experiences. it is a good place for catching up with old friends and introducing new ones to the great coffee and tea selection.
