steakout & drifters lounge

aweful dinner. ordered from here today and got the louisiana shrimp for $11.95... there were 6 shrimp and they were swimming in oil. the caesar salad (with cajun chicken) had the driest cuts of chicken i've ever seen. the veal cutlet was also incredibly overcooked, and the poutine was sub-par at best

needs some tlc. my girlfriend and i have been to drifters a few times for wings and pizza. the wings are what you should expect for $0.35 and the pizza was fantastic. we have been served by silky each time we've been there and she is very friendly.
the only reason we won't be back is the restaraunt is simply dirty. the state of the bathrooms alone made us question how clean the kitchen might be.

horrible service.. girlfriend goes in and immediately is treated like a bother. the woman up front ignored then said "what do you want!?"
then when she mistakingly put meatballs on spaghetti when they weren't wanted the lady says "what do you want me to do about it?"
don't go here.

the steak out is a nice family restaurant,its always really quiet,which is good,but it wouldnt kill the to clean the curtains and vacuum the floor,it seems a little on the dingy side,not fancy at all,just an average cheap restaurant with amazing drinks:)

i'm very satisfied with the breakfast at the steakout as they tend to serve a generous portion and tasted good. the onion rings are delicious as well. coffee is good. the waitress was friendly and attentive to our questions.

after a day of shopping, i stopped in steakout for supper with a friend. the restaurant was a little run down, but nothing we couldn't stand. we had a moment with the menus and decided what we wanted fairly quickly - we thought that since there was "steak" in their name that it was their specialty, so we opted for those. our server seemed oddly annoyed that we wanted to order the same time we ordered our drinks, since that moment his attitude did not change much. just aggravated the entire time... but we didn't care for the service, the food is what it was all about. when our entrees arrived, my first impression was that the portion was nice. for the price i paid for my steak ($18.95), you would think that i would have it cooked correctly. i don't know why our server bothered to ask us how we'd like our steaks done, since we received them well done. we ordered medium rare. the rest of the side dishes - vegetables, mashed potatoes and garlic toast were delicious. however, i was so disappointed with my steak. in the end, i did use a coupon from the entertainment book and received $17 off my bill. overall, i would not return for steaks... i was glad to have paid $13.50 for mine, but for $18.95 i would rather take my money elsewhere.

best pizza in town!!!!!!!. my family has been ordering pizza for take out for years......we love the taste and the price......its our friday night treat!!!!!!!!

i just left this restaurant.  do not buy, if want their gluten free pizza.  i undressed 3 little children and they sat down, it was freezing.  so i asked if it was warmer on the lower part, they said yes, so i carried the high chair then continued to bring down all the hats, gloves coats etc.  we sat down, i told the waitress that i did not need a menu as i knew what we wanted, as i have bought many groupons for this place, as has my family and we all go together).  i wanted the gluten free pizza as i am celiac, she tells me they changed it yesterday, i bought my groupon a while ago, not today.  it said nothing in the fine print of not offering the gluten free pizza!!  well that is the only pizza i can eat, so i dressed 3 little children and left and went to another restaurant, i was so upset that i will never ever go there again.  not even an apology,  and none of my other family members will go there either.  i will be contacting groupon about this!!!

a great place to use a groupon ! staff are so friendly, welcoming and attentive. we absolutely loved the women working in the lounge. we enjoyed a couple games of pool, along with the most delicious spicy vodka caesar. the burgers are fresh made patties, the sweet potato fries were great and the montreal smoked meat sandwich was awesome with the spicy mustard (added from the table) !!

we have been enjoying the pizza at steakout for a couple of years now. last night we decided to have pizza and i opted for their canadian burger. on my third bite i bit into a piece of wire! not a small piece but a piece that went through the whole patty. my husband got back in his truck and drove back to the resturant to show them. the gentleman at the resturant seemed to recognize the wire as being from the meat packaging. he apologized and offered to make a new burger to which i said no. i had lost my appetite. the gentleman said i could get a free burger next time. my problem is why did he not refund our money or offer to refund our whole meal. even offer to give us a free meal. i mean really if i had broken a tooth or cut my mouth open i would have had to go get a tetanus shot. i am very disappointed.

i went there for lunch . it was really nice enough portion . pizza was great . soup were tasty and staff was so friendly . i will go back soon

they even had gluten free potato skins and fries,

delivery took about an hour but well worth the wait.

we recently tried out steakout pizza & grill twice because we had to go back to try more of their menu.  that is how impressive their food was. yum yum yum. . let's first start with their pizza.  they make really tasty and cheesy pizza's to die for. more of the new york style pizza rather than the new trendy flat bread pizzas. their gluten free pizza comes in only large and you build your own. each topping is 2.50 per. which works out to be only a little more than their large special pizzas when you add 3 toppings.  so the difference in price is not huge. (plus they almost always have a groupon).

waited over 2 hours for our food. when it finally came it was cold. when i called the restaurant for an update on where our food was, the girl was rude and unhelpful. not pleased at all. definitely over paid for 2 hour old cold food.

best deep dish pizza in the city!  hubby had the meat lovers, i had philly cheese-steak pizza, both were nothing short of amazing.  the toppings were full of flavor, the crust was not too thick and not greasy.  the deep dish was not just extra crust, but packed with toppings.  loved!  will return!
