stacked: food well built

stacked. they have a huge variety on their menu ranging from salads, burgers,friesand pizzas. everything is very customizable so there is sure to be something for everybody!

my husband and i both ordered blue cheese hamburgers and we both agreed they were the best we've had in san diego county.the beef was fresh and tender the lettuce with crisp the tomatoes cold and the bun was perfect. sadly we did not have the amazing sweet potatofriesbut i'm sure we'll try them next time. our serverwas friendly and attentive.

great! this was a very fun up beat place with great fresh food. we shared a build it yourself burger, jalapeño bacon mac & cheese and amazing chili cheesefriesto start with all for $25.00. you order your meal on an interactive menu on a ipod that also has a place to swipe your card and pay right there, very fun an convenient. the burger had great flavor and every thing was fresh. the mac & cheese was pretty great too, you can anything to it! the chili cheesefrieswere just as fresh and it was full of flavor. then we decided to order and build your own shake and it just topped off our meal! the wait staff were great and very friendly and helpful, they all seemed to really like being there. we will definitely be back!

interesting idea plain food. the idea behind the restaurant is clever. the food isn't special, its basic bar food. thefrieswere soggy and i would have been fine at any burger place.

good times!. i love this place! you place your order on an ipad, how fun! right when you walk in there are hosts waiting to seat you (or you can sit at the beer & wine bar), and if there's a wait, you can "pre-order" on an ipad at the front so that all you do is hit "send to kitchen" as soon as you sit down! we were seated promptly and immediately a "server" came over and explained the process to us, which is very easy to understand. we ordered our drinks and bam! they arrive at the table within a minute! then we got to work on building our burgers. they have burgers, fries, salads, pizzas, sausages, soups, cookies, ice cream, and milkshakes! all customizable with toppings, sides, and mix ins! we got to work on building our burgers, working from menu items and just making small mods.

my husband had the wake up call (which is pretty much his dream burger), swapping out the pretzel bun for brioche and eliminating any veggies that would get in the way of his meat fix. i went for the stack 'n' bleu and swapped out my beef patty for a veggie one. we also ordered a side of regular and sweet potato fries. the burgers were fabulous! tons of flavor (think garlic aioli, shallot jam, bacon, etc.) and a good size. the regularfrieswere really good but i probably wouldn't get the sweet potato ones again; just not much to them. the garlic aioli was insanely good! chunks of garlic throughout.

we finished with a custom milkshake with vanilla ice cream, chocolate chips, and snickerdoodle cookie mixed in. yum! our entire meal was $40 including tip. everyone was very helpful. we will be regular diners at stacked!
