we are human. and we are built carnivorous (basically we're omnivores but you get the idea). what really excites our thought process as meat eaters is going back to basics with fire and a good piece of meat. luzern steakhouse, as they are currently named right now, caters to that primal instinct. and they do it right. no wonder they've won best steakhouse in cebu.

the place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - tuck between a hotel and asilo de la milagrosa, at first glance the building looks old and worn down. but step inside the restaurant and you'll think your in an old hickory steakhouse. cozy enough for a family dinner private enough for a date. and yes they do dry clean the furniture.

the food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - if you're looking for that fine taste (especially their imported beef) of beef then go for their steaks. expensive for you? go for the porkchop or local beef. they still don't disappoint. if you go here order the steak. don't go there and just order a salad or something. just forget about it and go somewhere else. don't be a damn fool. i'd give them 5 stars but their banana split was very underwhelming and i really do mean it. don't order dessert.

the service ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - the service was average at best. they've got plenty of highs but as your lunch/dinner service goes on they start to lose focus and just become complacent. 

the value ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - they are a perfect example of you get what you pay for. if you splurge on the imported cuts then you really won't be disappointed i guarantee you that. wanna impress a date? take her here (make sure she isn't a sweet-tooth cuz they're steak guys not dessert guys).

the staff are accommodating as well. even if we didn’t have reservations, they still seated us while the reserved table is not yet occupied. its best to do reservations ahead coz this place can get pretty full even on weekdays.

we had our christmas dinner here w/ my friends. this is one of the hidden gems in cebu (for me) bec the road going to the resto is bumpy and there are a lot of people idling outside. however, as you enter the resto, you'll be in awe of the interior design. it's homey but at the same time, classy. it's a great place to have intimate dinners w/ your loved ones.

enough of the ambiance, let's talk about their food. since there was a promo w/ their steaks at that time, all of us ordered ribeye 😂 although 2 people share on 1 steak (it was a good idea tho cos i can't finish it by myself and the rest of my friends agreed). their ribeye is sooo good. it might be pricey but it's def worth it. i mean it's steak so it should cost more, right?

the food is great. the ambiance is lovely. but it still needs improvement. as i was going out of the cr, someone pushed the backdoor (which was adjacent to the cr), hitting me in the face. it couldve been avoided if the door needs to be pulled, rather than pushed. another thing, there are times the waitress is acting snobbish. but actually, my friends were the ones who noticed that cos i was busy eating the whole time hihi

good food but bad service. the waitress rolled her eyes at us, not just once. slow service and rude in talking with us. not approachable and friendly

will always be my ideal place for date night and special occassions! i love their steak so much! also, their porkchop stands out! the place and it's ambiance makes everything perfect! kudos to the interior designer of this place!

dined here for the second time.the place is great. the food is great. i can highly recommend their tenderloins. the us tenderloin is great for 3-4 people cosdidering its price of 1400.

found the ribeye that can be at par with wooloomooloo’s, lincoln square’s, mamou’s, texas roadhouse’s and fogo de chao’s. best in cebu! it melts in your mouth!

they have this promo of 1200php for 400g and 1350 (if my memory serves me right) for 450g.

for the steak lovers out here in zomato!!! this is the place to be!

1. the service was good (got there around dinner time, we reserved a table a day before prior to going there)
2. food was really good!!!
✅ us rib eye (so soft, served with mash potato)
✅spaghetti with olive oil, chili, and garlic
✅ dessert: omelete surprise

they also had new drinks which were very refreshing. a must try!

overall, the place was pricey but worth every penny. i swear 🤤 would def come back here!

food is splendid. service still has room for improvement. place seems cozy; it's a very different atmosphere from the outside. be sure to make a reservation since walk-in guests dine at the garden area.

great steak and good service. the restaurant has a homey atmosphere and the staff were attentive. definitely will come back when i don’t feel like cooking my own steak!

my favorite steak ever in cebu! the garlic pasta was the bomb. i would come back here always! they never disappoint the food is really good try the porkchop too

went there by 9am. the staff accomodated us very well and was friendly. she gave us good options for our meal.

over-all, the experience was amazing. rib eye steak was exceptional. aglio olio was delicious. would love to come back here and try some other dishes.

if you love steak then this place is the place to have steak. i didn’t have it but my sister had it and enjoyed a lot from the other steak places in cebu. another hidden gem in cebu.

don't let the location fool you. best value for money when it comes to their rib eye steak. wine section could be improved but other than that its quite decent. would come back to order the lamb.

service made us feel like the waitresses were already tired and ready to go home. they probably were though, it was a late saturday night. but the food was good, place was cozy.
