st. louis bar & grill

location - clyde. the food took forever and the waitress had no clue what was on the menu. i asked to talk to the manager and some 20 year old came to talk to me and i dont think they even had a clue what they were doing. people were also smoking on the patio and no one working seemed to care. also the table next to our the guy was piss drunk and they kept serving them anyways. i won't be surprised if it closes down soon due to poor management.

great patio location just down from where elgin gets super busy. first time there tried a wrap with. salad and my bf had a sandwich with salad. we were pleasantly surprised by how great it was. service was ok but wouldn't stop me from returning for some wings and a pint

not so sweet pot fries. i was recently here on the patio with a group of co-workers as we wanted to enjoy the brief good weather outside after work. seemed simple enough, so after a round of drinks arrived a couple of the guys ordered food. i was not all that hungry but figured i'd have a bite to go with my beverage and not be the only one not eating something. well ...after almost all my mates had not only got their food but were practically finishing, our student server, clearly overwhelmed, informed me that the cook had burnt my single order of fries, and a batch would be coming up shortly. ok i can deal with a lot so i figure a few more minutes, right? noooo, not quite. all the while miss-you-name-it-university is popping around and taking and delivering orders for patrons that came after us! and all i ordered was fries!!! really?? finally i tried to cancel my order (politely) as i sensed that the guys would be looking to go shortly, and little miss ottawa coped an attitude, asking me if i preferred my bill instead. in other words, if i won't take a long overdue order, i can leave. the long and short of it is i don't think i'll be giving st.louis my business again. at least not until they get competent cook and wait staff. her name is robin if your willing to take your chances. d-

the food was terrible... the beer was flat as hell... the waitress breath stunk,,,, overall very disappointing......dont know where they find the people to run these places

poor beer pours!!!. i have been a few times and they are super stingy on the beer pours. it's supposed to be 20 ounces!!! not 17 (and yes, they say 20 oz in their menu, not a "pint")!!! they say it's to leave room for the foam, but most of the time there's none, just a glass that looks like i had a big gulp from it. i bet the staff are trained to pour it like this and they have never worked anywhere else.

i emailed them over it and got some sluff-off corporate response; i felt disrespected. boycott this place!!!

the place was alright. service is good but the food is nothing special.

a fantastic place. the food is literally finger licking good. great taste and also daily menus.
the cocktails are really yum. had a bourbon bullet and polar vortex. they both were a fantastic mix of alcohol and other juices. te all canadian burger is one of the best in town. service is very good too. definitely a must visit place. the alcoholic hot chocolate is great

ordered chicken quesadilla and it was ok. too bad i can't say same about their sangria - crappy; stick to bottled drinks.

it didn't leave a positive impression on me... it was the first time i try it and i went out of my way to go there. there are other options in the neighborhood that could've been better . food was greasy and i really was disappointed , hope they up the dishes.

went in for the half priced wings - they came out burned and dry. literally with black charred bits. short version, had to pay for uneaten burned wings. long version, after trying to get a server's attention we finally got up and found someone (not our original server) and asked if we had them replaced they would come out different - they thought they would, but when they came out burned and dry again (literally, black charred bits) we were given the explanation by the manager that the dry rub is like that. i prefer to order dry rub wings, and go out for wings often (usually to different bars, eg. the pump, barley mow) and they never come out like this. 
terrible, just terrible.

standard st. louis bar & grill service and quality. literally the same whether you're on baseline or in toronto. not a bad thing. the one thing that stands out here is the awesome patio space.

had the ribs here. tasty and well sauced. i would rate it as slightly above average in terms of chain rib-places. pretty much what you expect from a ribs & wing place.

caution: would not honour gift certificates. buyer beware! when trying to pay for a recent meal we were informed we weren't allowed to use our gift certificates on sunday afternoons. there was no mention of this blackout on the certificates, nor on any signage. we were told it was a recent decision by the owner to try and boost business on other nights. needless to say, we would have ordered rather differently had we known that our gift certificates would not be accepted. a ridiculous policy of questionable legality, and absolutely terrible customer service in dealing with it - we won't be returning.

overall fantastic food in all of there choices. i have ordered the pulled pork tacos, fantastic taste, you can really taste the bbq spicing. when comparing the pulled pork to dns in carlsbag springs, st louis has the wow factor.
the hamburgers are juicy and cooked to perfection, i have only been there a few times and i am overly impressed by the food and the service is excellent. friendly staff, the manager is always on site and greets you like family.
we now go there once a week after work to decompress from our jobs.
cannot wait to be there when the patio opens up, the atmosphere is welcoming and fun. must agree that parking around there is limited, you must adhere to parking time allowed or you will get a ticket.

good. a little pricey but they have good daily deals and good service. we enjoy going here every couple of weeks for the half price appetizers
