this is my mum's favourite spot and she will often pop in to sit outside under the trees far from the maddening crowd ! we went for brunch and i was really impressed, it is small, the menu is simple but there is agoodselection and the staff are friendly, happy to muddle the menu and more importantly kind to my mum who struggles a little with her walking / sitting. it is situated in an old house with a very small boutique in one of the rooms - very easy to sit and relax and chat. it also appeals to an eclectic crowd from students on laptops to women basking in the sun with a book, coffee and a sandwich outside. oh yes - the scones were fresh and yum !!
