best place in town. don't listen to the grumpy guy in the earlier review. sprout is the best place for a freshsaladin the bay area. the owner/chef works hard to make sure everything here is super clean, high quality, and very tasty. try one of his specialty salads, or a bowl of delicious soup (varieties change with the seasons), or a small bite (i recommend the pot stickers and the fresh spring rolls), or one of his carefully composed sandwiches. or build your ownsaladwith only the ingredients you want. my husband and i eat here at least once a week, and it's our favorite take-out place for those "don't feel like cooking" nights. prices are very reasonable and portions (contrary to earlier reviewer) are generous.
