spill the beans coffee company

just been for dinner for our anniversary. food was amazing.staffand owner, freddy were so lovely. will definately be back again. thanks very much,

not happy jan..staffwere great at breakfast this morning. the monday of the long weekend, the plus 10% sign glared at me from a note taped to the till. we ordered a juice, two coffees and two breakfast 'towers'. the stacks arrived after ten minutes or so and looked great. bacon, slices of camenbert, baby spinach leaves, caramalised onions and topped with a fried egg. all drizzled with balsamic glaze and stacked onto three slices of white bread.the bread was supposed to be toasted but had only had the briefest of meetings with a grill or toaster. it was bland in the extreme. the rest of the meal was luke warm, served on a cold plate we both struggled to get through the meal especially when it came to attacking the three thick slices of un-toasted dry bread.. we watched other food exiting the kitchen, it all looked great and there were plenty of customers many obvious regulars. thestaffas i mentioned earlier were fabulous with willing smiles but for me my food was dreadful merely by the fact it was cold and plus $10% :)   there will be those that say "why didn't you complain ?"..
i never complain and never send food back, i'd rather walk away and not return.

this morning we popped into spill the beans for a quick coffee. we were greeted with smiles on arrival and the counterstaffwere quick to take our order. i had an extra hot long mac whilst the american enjoyed a long mac and piece of carrot cake. when we ordered the waitress informed us that they had a coffee and cake special for $7.95! winning! the service was quick and friendly, the venue was perfectly located close to the beach and trail walks and the coffees were hot, strong and delicious. i simply had to try the cake so that i could review it for you :) that was delicious too, especially the cream cheese icing on top that had a slight lemon flavour. it was a busy little place and yet everything that came out of the kitchen looked nicely presented and equally delicious. we are very much looking forward to coming back here again soon to sample some of the items on the menu!

bad afternoon. stopped off for the regular.
don't know if it was the youngstaffon duty, but it was awful.
two coffees, some cheesecake and a tiny tiny piece of carrot and walnut cake ..... $21.90 !
coffees were barely drinkable.
cheesecake tasted like soap.
carrot cake was dry, old and tasteless. this piece cost $8.95 !
i know i should have said something, but we locals just seem to accept it as the norm for mandurah.
this place used to be spot on.
what happened?

i want to take people there!. i went there with my carer this afternoon, she ordered an iced chocolate for me and a bit of cake. the iced chocolate was ok but i prefer iced mocha. the cake was ok too it had tiamus in it (i show off my 'creative' spelling). thestaffwho knew me were on and there was a mixture of boys and girls, waiting on tables and making the coffee. i have a list of people to take there as well as my wife. i have found a good'un. and it is my local coffee shop!

remembered my name!. i walked past the place the other day and astaffmember knew my name and used it (she as out cleaning tables and just said hello). add to that they make a mean mocha and it is no wonder that i like them as much as i do. and they are my 'local' coffee shop!

max balladonia - review. i got taken there by my carer. and thestaffknew me and used my name! i had a mocha and they made a good one! she (my carer) had a ham, chesse and tomato toasted sandwich (which was tasty, acording to my carer) they were friendly and reasonably busy. i noted that they did not have any christmas decorations up yet. but the food and drink were good and tasty. i am lucky that spill the beans is my local coffee shop.

i like spill the beans. i am lucky enough to live near 'sill the beans' which is a good coffee shop, they have good food and good coffee and they are my local coffee shop! how good is that? thestaffare good to they evan know my name! the food and drink are yummy and thestaffare friendly what more could you possibly want. and it has a grovey name. so it gets my vote! do yourself a favour and go there.

iced mocha. i got taken there again by a lady (my carer) and they knew what a iced mocha was! thestaffwere friendly but not over so. it is a good coffee shop. they made my iced mocha taste good! and i didn't eat anything because i am on a diet. next time i am there i will try a iced chocolate! i will go there again they are good. which i guess is the clue we are all looking for.

mocha and tea.. i got taken there again and the mocha was good. we didn't have anything to eat as we didn't want to spoil our lunch. the lady i was with (my carer) had a white tea, and she said it was good too. i would give it nine and a half out of ten (it doesn't get ten because it is not god!). i will go there again! and it has a groovy name! i like living near it!

i like spill the beans!. i am lucky enough to live near the spill the beans i like it, it is probably the best coffee shop i know and thestaffare good too. i usually have a iced coffee or an iced mocha (coffee and chocolate mixed) and they handle both with ease! sometimes i get a cake to go with my drink, they have good cakes on display you can sit and watch the world go by. or you can sit and watch the rich mans toys (boats) go by. i am going to try the food because they do everything else so well, it is sure to taste great! i am recovering from a head injury and thestaffare friendly (i am learning to walk and talk again). i reccomend spill the beans to people, which is sort of funny because i don't want extra people messing up my world. and spill the beans is part of my world. i am alergick to milk and they give me soy "milk" instead (i told you they were good) they are so good i want to bring my wife down here to have mocha and cake. i would say that anything with coffee in it they do very well. and the cakes are not bad either. this is not a case of the nearest coffee shop is good. i'm sure that there are closer coffee shops but spill the beans is genuinely good and is quite near where i live! mind you we take the car when we there so it is not that close. spill the beans is a grovey name for a coffee shop. and they get the service and coffee right on. yes i am a child of the 60s and 70s

good coffee or tea and good cake too. it is a good coffee place and they have good cakes too. being near the coast it is good to get your coffee (or tea, they do both well) and watch the world go by while you drink your coffee and eat your cake. thestaffare not intrucive but they are good checking on you occasionally. and thestaffknow me they use my name! which is good. my mother gave it to me to be used.

iced coffee and cake. this place makes good coffee. the cakes aren't bad either, my last cake was baileys cheesecake. thestaffare good and you get good service. i guess you could say i like the place! they even remember my name, which is good as i have a disabilty and they are very patient with me. they also do soy 'milk'. i will give it a rating of nine out of ten.

this is my local cafe and i have visited numerous times.
pros- it's local (to me and my friends),staffare friendly, good background music, dogs welcome.
cons- the lunch special that comes with the 'no sharing' instruction really put me off this place. first of all- who are they to dictate clientele appetites?
high prices- kids breakfast for $9.50?
i'd rather travel to cafe one58 in town than arrange coffee dates here.
sad, as its convenient for me.

disapointed. my husband and i found our first visit to spill the beans to be the first and the last it was restaurant prices at a very ordinary cafe. food was expensive and not very good . thestaffwere not that pleasant and even the owners had a problem with being friendly . a tip winter can be a long time in the winter so just do not rely on summer to make the money.
