soy teriyaki bistro

real gem. some of the most friendly people working here you'll ever find, serving excellent food made to order in-house, using fresh ingredients. the ratings are high because they earn them. lots of interesting and some more traditional menu items. i'd never had bibimbap, so i asked the hostess/order taker and she described it, as well as a proper way to mix and eat it. it's an excellent mix of quick grilled beef, fresh vegies (some cooked, some a little crispy) an egg over easy and perfectly spicy yet flavorful chili sauce, served in a big bowl with rice. loved it! herself also went a little out of the norm and had their version of "hot chicken." a dish of spiced stir fry chicken slices served on fresh greens with rice. just the right amount of building spice and chili flavor with the meat. it came with a "slaw" of fresh shredded cabbage topped with their dressing. cool, fresh, crispy and excellent. perfect accompaniment. since it was our first time there and we ordered spicy dishes, the owner came out to check to make sure we knew they were spicy. we're good with that. she then came back out to see how we were doing with them and answer questions. genuinely interested in her customers. can't wait to try the korean pork.

i went on tuesday for bulgogi but they only serve it on friday! so i got the bibimbap and it was great! you might want to specify the amount of siriachi they put on it because mine was too spicy for me to fully enjoy it. definitely will e back!

so yummy!! we are from out of town and stopped in on our way through nashville. my entire family (including 3 and 5 yo boys) loved it. everything is so fresh and delicious! the staff was so friendly and took interest in our children. very clean. definitely try it out! you won't be sorry. we will be back for sure.

finally brentwood has a good ethnic restaurant. i ate here today after driving by every day on the way to the y and noticing it.immediately i went to urbanspoon to see what others had to say and decided to give it a try after such good reviews and i too was was vey impressed.i got the spicy pork bulgogi which came with lettuce on the side for wrapping the bulgogi if desired.this is comfort food at its best and for a spice loving person like i am ,the kick and flavor was just perfect.the pickled veggies were crisp and married so well with the texture of the pork.i will be back soon!

great place to eat!. i have to say i love this place. they have a daily lunch special, and then the regular menu items. the spicy bowl happens to be my favorite menu item with chicken or steak added. the steak is always so very tender. this little secret in brentwood is good enough to travel from all over the nashville area for lunch if you have time. come early as the place fills up quickly every day just after it opens.

excellent food for a very affordable price! the owner and his son were personable and very nice. i can see why they do so well!

the food is amazing and extremely affordable. the atmosphere is relaxed and ethnic, and the staff are probably the nicest people i've ever met.

every time i go i try something different. the lettuce wraps are nothing that u have ever had before. amazing !!'

first time at soy. this place is a must! from the food to the service. everyone in there spoke to each customer and thanked them for coming in. the food... amazing... i recommend the spicy fried rice. yum! the prices are incredible the ingredients are fresh. what a great find... and its in brentwood! yay!

a must visit for lunch! soy teriyakis bistro's food is freshly prepared and delicious and flavorful. i am not one to write reviews but this place takes the cake! i am going to recommend this place to everyone i know, not just because of the amazing food but the staff was very kind and some of the best customer service i've seen in a long time. go here you will not be disappointed!

wow!. i was visiting brentwood, tn for 2 weeks and as a huge foodie, i am always looking for that place in every town i visit. i looked around and came across soy bistro. everyone who reads this, please visit this place. the 98% rating is an understatement, and this place deserves all the attention it gets and much more. kudos to the owner, super nice guy and hope you have many successes in the future.

the short time i’ve spent in the nashville-area i didn’t see many asian restaurants. so when i was recommended soy bistro for lunch i was a little skeptical. i did a quick yelp search and notices that there were a decent number of reviews and it still had five stars. i was still a little suspicious. you don’t really see many place with that many reviews and still have five stars. so i have to try this place out for myself. i came here in a group of six right at noon so i was expecting to stand around waiting for people to leave but we were luck and got a table pretty quickly. when you walk into this place you will notice the menu on your right side. pick between their different tacos or rice bowls. i tried a little of both with a chicken traditional bowl for $6 (plus $2 for meat) plus tax and a beef taco korean style for $2.50 plus tax.

so good! my shrimp tacos were awesome! spicy, creamy, and fresh! and they were very accommodating to my gluten sensitivity. my mom had bulgogi and liked it alot. the staff was very friendly and attentive and the restaurant was very clean. yea!
