excellent food, excellent service.. i ate there tonight, and hadn't been in a while. greeted promptly at the door, and seated at the bar. i ordered the hangover burger with the fried egg. it was quite busy and thefoodwas fast, i had myfoodin about 7 or 8 minutes. fries were fresh and crispy. burger was perfect. sobelmans has a unique taste - the type of burger that melts in your mouth. not overfilling and def satisfying. price is right about $8-9 with fries. owner is always on site and bartenders and service people were on top of their game. thank you.

greatfoodwith an even better atmosphere. the burgers were great. sat at the bar at 11:00am on thursday, seated right away. the servers were very friendly but the bartender that ended up taking care of us totally stole the show! he was incredibly entertaining, kept our glasses full and made perfect recommendations for our burger choices.

if you go, cozy up to the bar, order a burger and have a great conversation with the best bartender in milwaukee.

starting with appitizers. we tried the gouda mac n cheese bites and we thought they were really yummy and would go back for a basket of those and a beer. however, we were both disappointed with our burgers. we both had the bacon cheeseburger that they did for the show "foodwars" and really just thought they were pretty mediocre. my fiance said i can make a tastier turkey burger then the beef burgers we had. maybe i had really high expectations because of all the hype and the fact that i had been wanting to go there for a long time but honestly i love my burgers( my favorite food) and i really think that there are better places in milwaukee. i think soblemans may need to step up there game.

no thanks. the sobelman's burger was decent, but nothing top notch or gourmet.. just your average fastfoodburger. the loser burger was disgusting, i mean inedible. the bacon was so chewy you couldn't bite through it, you had to gnaw it like jerky, the patty was dry and didn't have any flavor. besides the fact you sit arm to arm with everyone around you. i happened to have a table of screaming babies next to my right arm, yes, i did say, babies in a bar. kind of puts a damper on your beer and burger, no?! take your kids somewhere else. in fact, i'll just go somewhere else next time.

wow!. this is the best burger i have ever had. no clue how this place lost to aj's onfoodwars.

the sobleman is amazing, but be sure to try the bleu cheese burger...... dayum!

visited sobelman's after seeing it onfoodwars. the sobelman burger is good, not greasy, topped with three cheeses, bacon and chopped onions and jalapenos, which gives the burger a little kick of flavor. the bun is good, too. a solid burger but, in my opinion, could have been a little juicier. i will have to try sobelman'sfoodwars competitor, aj bombers, to see how they compare.

the pretzel bun is the key.. one of the best burgers in town. the sobelman burger is delicious. the pretzel bun and the onions really make it a unique tasty burger. i've been there a few times and thefoodis always great. i like the atmosphere of the bar as well and the service has been good almost every time. if you're into burgers you need to try it.

wow i was impressed!. i had never heard about this place until a coworker suggested we stop by. apparently they were showcased onfoodwars. i thought it wouldn't hurt to stop in and see what the commotion was all about.

wow it was worth the trip. the burger was fantastic, and the service was excellent. we didn't want for anything, she always seemed to come around at just the right time when we needed something. i would suggest the mushrroom and swiss burger -- to die for! om nom nom!
