do not judge a book by its cover, you will miss out.... i was driving around looking for the "hole in the wall" type of restaurant. i have never heard of this place, and when i saw the outside, i was like, "lets go there and try it".
never, ever judge a book by its cover. i felt there was something about this place when we had to wait 20 minutes for a table.the food in this place was fantastic and rightfully priced. the fried shrimp popped in your mouth, it was cooked to perfection. my wife is from the bahamas, and she said the bahamian conch chowder was cooked to perfection and was the best she has ever had (conch pieces were a little small though). my blackened mahi mahi was large in portion and succulent in flavor.
we ordered: 2 x heinekens, 2 x sodas, 2 x salad and chowder (new england and bahamian), 2 x conch fritters (8 pieces each), 1 x child's fried shrimp and fries, 1/2 pound of spicy steamed shrimp, and the blackened mahi mahi. total cost minus tip, $71.71.
all you yankees stay away from this place, leave it for the locals to enjoy.
