love this place for brunch / tea and treats. i got the super food salad for a weekend brunch and it was so delish. quinoa, cured salmon, avocado and nuts - perfect. emma bourke ordered the french toast and it was indescribably delish - such a sweet treat. the staff are so friendly - i popped in one evening for coffee and a scone and left with some amazing blueberry scones which they insisted i take on the house as they were closing and had them left over! the outside area is cosy with blankets and is nonsmoking. can't recommendsistersadie more.

at last i've visited brother hubbard's little sis!sistersadie offers a very similar menu to her older bro. favourites like the beans and pulled pork appear on the menu and the food and service is just as good as brother hubbard. i went for the ham and cheese roll which came with relish and rocket and a small side salad sprinkled with lovely seeds. i feel ss doesn't quite have the same bustling atmosphere as bh though but she is fairly new and i'm sure like every little sis will do her best to outshine the big bro when she gets older! there is tons of outside seating so this will be a goldmine in the summer.

stopped in tosistersadie today for brunch with my girlfriend. i've eaten in their 'sister' restaurant brother hubbard numerous times so was eager to check it. when we arrived a little after one the place was busy but there was still tables free. i walked in and immediately said hello to one of the waiters who said hello back before quickly walking off. after this brief welcome we then stood as a line formed behind us for five minutes before we were acknowledged again, not a great start.

once we were shown to a table the service was quick and pleasant. i ordered a glass of orange juice which was beautifully fresh with lots of nice bits. for food i went for the thesistersadie beans classic, which consisted of beans with whipped feta topped with a fried egg. the beans had a lovely flavour but the dish as a whole could have benefited from more of the beautiful whipped feta. as brunch dishes go it was good without being spectacular.

we attempted to pay with card which resulted in having to bring the bill to the counter, which also acts as the packed waiting area, the system in this regard could certainly be improved.

while neither of us could find fault with the food it just lacked something that would bring me back week after week. brunch is arguably becoming the most competitive meal in this part of dublin and the few issues i've noted above just letsistersadie down.

brunch for two came to €26.

went here yesterday, as a treat to finish off a long week. i absolutely love brunch, but during the week its close to impossible to find.sistersadie/ brother hubbard are two of my favorite spots.
withsistersadie in a more prefurable location, its easier to acess than bh.
the inside is lovely and bright, and on a crisp dry morning the outside is gorgeous for breakfast.
to begin i had a glass of prosecco, and at 7 euro a glass i thought it was very reasonable.
i then went for the chorizo and potatoe special; with lemon vinaigrette and a poached egg on top.
it was amazing, huge portion size which i struggled to finish!
to finish, we shared the infamous brownie. although it had coconut on top and a side of strange hardened raspberry cream; the brownie solely itself lived up to its name. crisp on the outside and soft on the inside; absolutely deeelish.
at 10 euro each, and a huge menu consisting of daily special salads and sandwhiches ss cannot be beaten. fantastic spot if your craving brunch midweek.

had been to thesisterrestaurant of this place in the summer, brother hubbard and have been dying to try this place since. came with my boyfriend and he was seriously impressed. don't think u can get a better brunch in dublin. i went for the beans special but opted for the pulled pork as extra. paul got the pulled pork and egg special, very similar dished except mine came with feta and yogurt dressing. absolutely delicious, can't beat their homemade beans and pulled pork! dying to try their pulled pork sandwich but wanted a proper feed and the beans did the job. washed it down with a cappuccino for myself and a latte for him. the coffee was seriously delicious but very small i coulda had a second but decided to get a belgian chocolate brownie to share. the brownie was divine there was walnuts and caramel sporadically through it and it came with raspberry infused cream. i don't think i could get better brunch if i tried! top marks

had a very enjoyable sunday afternoon insistersadie last weekend. this was my first time in ss but i'm a big fan of brother hubbards so my expectations were high.

after much debate, i ordered the beans classic which is baked cannellini beans in a fancy tomato sauce served with a whipped feta, lemon and olive yoghurt and a fried egg. oh, and sourdough bread too! ! the food envy quickly set in when my friend's pulled pork sandwich arrived to the table - i was lucky enough to try some and it was fab. they don't call it in the best pulled pork sambo in dublin for nothing.

very impressed with both the standard of food & service in ss. i will be back.

the photo uploaded is one of my favourite lunches i've had! the only thing aboutsistersadie is the menu changes weekly so it can be hit or miss depending on your taste. saying this, any time i have been i have found something on the menu i like and it has always been delicious and full of flavour! caters for both the healthy foodies as well as the hungover population. great atmosphere here.

this is thesisterrestaurant of brother hubbard which i absolutely adore so expectations were very high! the menu is pretty much identical to bh...and they have a lovely outdoor area which unfortunately we couldn't get a seat in...i'm not too keen on the tables inside purely cos it's really loud and cramped in there so means you are trying to talk over your neighbours! food is really good though- so flavoursome and lovely teas and coffees aswell! turkish eggs menamen is my fav!

i’ve always wanted to work in town… the after work shopping trips and drinks and the huge choice for lunch and dinner – all the stuff you don’t get when you work in an industrial estate in d12! the main part i’m envious of is the food options though… i constantly see people on social media who get to sample all the new spots on their lunch while i sit at my desk or in our canteen with my home made soup or salad, struggling to make it around all the latest hotspots over the weekend.

one such place that i’d heard lots about issistersadie on harrington street… my only experience was reading others reviews and flying past it on the bus into town. being close to hatch street, it’s got the benefit of proximity to aviva and deloitte and i’ve often jealously viewed the tweets from workers who can pop in for a bite to eat on their break. as asisterrestaurant to the ever popular brother hubbard, it has always had a lot to live up to – and for me it certainly did!

my review is split over two visits, one for lunch while on a quick break from a yoga workshop nearby and then a flying visit for a solo coffee and cake date. on the side of a gorgeous leafy street, they’ve made the most of all available space with a cute outdoor “non-smoking area” – delightful, i can eat my lunch outdoors without the smoke!

the indoor area is funky and modern with desk-type tables and some pretty cool light fixtures. there’s also a section with some packaged foodstuff for sale – i didn’t even look as i know i would have bought it all! i loved the little touches like the cute salt and pepper holders.

the menu offered enough to keep anyone happy… a few smaller and healthy options like the granola or bircher bowl then more substantial choices of baklava french toast, turkish eggs, beans & pulled pork. there is a middle eastern emphasis on many of their dishes and they have just recently started supper evenings along the same line.

trying to keep lunch somewhat light and healthy we went for the regular bircher bowl of oats with dried fruits, toasted nuts, crème fraiche,a drizzle of maple syrup and pomegranate seeds (€6.50) & the special of the day, sabiche salad and warm flatbread – chargrilled aubergine with spiced potatoes, cucumber tomato and red onion salad with tahini yogurt (€10.95).

both dishes were substantial, healthy and so tasty. the salad part of my dish was light and fresh, the aubergine still had a nice bite and the flatbread was perfect for clearing the end of the dressing from the plate. the staff were super cool and friendly and managed to rush everything for us to get back to our yoga moves on time :-)

my second visit was an altogether less healthy affair and i plumped for a cappucino and the chocolate & hazlenut scroll (€2.80)… in a word – amaze! i did have a slight speeding up of the heart with the sugar rush but the pastry was absolutely delicious and filled me for the morning :-)

open for breakfast, brunch, lunch and now dinner too there is no excuse not to visit and try out this fantastic – and somewhat healthy – food!

i likesistersadie. although it's bit crowded and tide so the place is good for a quick lunch. i've had turkish eggs that were nice. not overdone and not too runny. eggs are cooked with peppers that give really nice flavour. portions are just perfect. all is seasoned with the fresh herbs. service is quick and polite. i will definitely be coming back for more.

after a long wait i finally made it intosistersadie for a bit of lunch the other day. a sibling of brother hubbard on capel st., they offer much the same menu of delicious sandwiches and brunch treats. the ding room is bright and spacious, and there's nearly as much room out front for when the weather gets a bit warmer. after much deliberation over the menu, i went for the eggs mememen with added chorizo served on sourdough bread. it was both smoky and spicy, with plenty of freshness coming from the parsley garnish. great place, i'll definitely be back.

i eagerly anticipated the arrival ofsistersadie near my previous office; brother hubbard have a brilliant reputation and are a byword for great food and lovely coffee so i couldn't wait to welcome its littlesisterto the neighbourhood.

two large airy rooms on harrington street just off the top of camden street - light floods in on sunny days making this a really nice spot to sit and watch the world go by. coffee is supplied by the ever awesome 3fe and as of my last visit, they were serving brother hubbard's custom blend with the plan to serve an exclusivesistersadie blend in the future.

for breakfast i always opt for the overnight oats which is a deliciously creamy portion of porridge served with your choice of toppings - i usually go for compote and nuts .

it has quickly become one of my favourite places to eat and i have yet to check out the new brunch menu but i know it will be fantastic!

...with the opening ofsistersadie on harrington street (in the site of the former tiesan cafe), i don't think there's going to be any ennui anytime soon.. sistersadie comes from the people behind the acclaimed brother hubbard (capel street), who currently hold the title of best sandwich in dublin, awarded by mckennas' guides  for their pulled pork creation....serves breakfast until 11.30ish (taken from their menu), after which it switches to lunch service. the team have continued to work with their established brother hubbard suppliers for their new menu. soups, salads, flatbreads and of course sandwiches all feature with a definite middle eastern flavour going on.
