we wentsirajfor a friend's birthday, we were 10 but got place easily.

i feel like menu is very limited , but still we managed to order.

we got the followings :
lentil , oats and tomato soup ,hummus , baba ghannouj, emirati mixed grill ( which was very less compared to price ) , meat arayes ( the best i had every ) a must try.

food was good , interior is perfect but i rated low cz of service ; i dnt know the reason but it was soooo sooo slow that we waited around 40 mins after starters , even after reminding all the servers it was the same answer 5 min, 5 mins.

i dnt think i will go again.

we also have shisha later on it was good .

i loved this place since the moment i got in. the decorations are incredibly stunning mixing the traditional elements of both syrian and emirati cultures. the food was great and delicious. i highly recommendsirajfor everyone since it's located in the heart of dubai right next to dubai mall and burj khalifa.

siraj, the authentically emirati restaurant with a contemporary twist, is the latest addition to the list of dining places at souk al bahar (downtown dubai). i’ve passed its premises on a number of occasions, and the stunning interiors make me take a second peek every time. the restaurant interiors pay tribute to the uae, with seven distinct arches representing each emirate. a flock of golden horses are suspended in mid-air, and the artistic vibes ofsirajis all at once arabesque yet stylishly new-age. the most striking feature of the restaurant is the cursive calligraphy, flowing across the walls and the bar-stools. these are stanzas of poetry that were composed by the ruler of dubai, hh sheikh mohammed himself.

last night the dinner was atsirajrestaurant in souk al bahar. we opted for outdoor seating arrangement which we loved so much. it was dinner venue with amazing views of the burj laser light and fountain show. the view was mesmerizing to say the least. we ordered for chicken wings, hummus in camel meat and baby potatoes. the chicken wings were too salty. the hummus in camel meat was like eating a pickle and we just didn’t like it. also the baby potatoes had no flavor , it was just grilled and served. although we loved the ambience but the food was really. it up to the mark.

another great levantine cuisine located at souk al bahar. i highly recommend thesirajspecial ribs, definitely tasty, flavourful, soft and it melts in your mouth. i'm grateful that i get a chance to try this heaven

siraj is, without a doubt, the best designed emirati levantine restaurant in dubai. it’s also one of the best – period. located in the swanky souq al bahar overlooking the iconic burj khalifa and the dubai mall fountains,sirajticks all the boxes where neighbourhood is concerned. but it’s inside wheresirajreally comes into its own, offering a rendering of regional beauty i have seldom seen anywhere. sitting in one of the most ott cities in the world, that’s saying a lot.

last night we met our friends after a very long time and i couldn't have thought of any place other than @sirajrestaurant.
after living in the emirates for nearly 5 years i have acquired the taste for emirate cuisine and i won't lie sometimes i crave for it.
i absolutely lovedsirajsignature halawa salad (must try)
the mix grill was cooked to perfectio. the beef tikka was melting in the mouth good, which is what i love the most about this place. their meat is soft and juicy.
they have a wide variety of hot and cold mezze and even if i tried i couldn't choose one because they all are so good.
falafal, baba ghanouj and mutable is what i recommend the most, pair it up with sumac passion margharita and you have the heartiest meal you have ever had. (all my vegetarian friends this one is especially for you). the warm bread keeps on coming as this place has the most prompt service.

i've been tosirajtoday saturday, the place is very nicely decorated with the arabic writings on the walls and the hanging horses .......the stuff were friendly and very helpful , the order came quickly .....we ordered tow kinds if salads : fatoush and mango salad which were not bad but not excellent, then lobster kubba this was amazingly delicious but they were only four pieces, and main dish was camel meat which was not very testy , in fact there was no test so if you go there do not order it but i do recommend the lobster kubba.... it is a nice place to try

yesterday me and two friends went to iftar atsiraj
they have iftar set menu (soup , starters both cold and hot , main course, sweets and drinks)
the place is very nicely decorated and the food was generally very nice

when i booked i mentioned one the attendees is vegetarian and they offered to add a vegetarian main dish which was very nice of them - was very pleased

the quantities were huge and we ended up with so much untouched food

the place is nicely decorated and gives a very nice arabic ambiance

the service was ok but i have to give the following feedback

- the waiters were over enthusiastic - standing behind us and would jump at the table with each bite or sip of water either to put more food in our plates or to pore water in our glasses.

also they would not give us time to breath , they offered soup and salad at same time and would continue to ask us when to bring the main course

they need to understand fasting people can't eat fast and really need time to digest food

despite us telling them several times to give us some time between starters and main course and then between main course and sweets they would not listen - they were on a mission to bring all the food quickly

the choice and volume of music was perfect

it's a place i would visit again

i visitedsirajduring eid holiday twice. the atmosphere is really excited and the interior is classy. the service was really good 5/5. the food is tasty and the following is the breakdown:

all juices and fresh mocktails were nice
but they don't serve coke and this is disappointed

i had dinner yesterday atsirajand unfortunately now im hospitalized for 2 days since that night due to un cooked food. this was addressed to them over the phone. i felt that it wasn't important, i don't want anyone else to be in the position that i'm in now, nutrients every 3 hours, consuming antibiotic to control the infection.

i have heard aboutsirajand was looking forward to try their food, however, i was extremely disappointed. i have ordered the hamour dish which was expensive and not worth the price and time waiting for it. the positive thing about the restaurant is the decoration and table setup.

authentic arabic foods....great atmosphere.....generous portions ....

if you miss that set menu from mezza house then this is your place.
aed 195/- per person .

and do not miss out on the delicious desserts.

although my only concern is that the staff is a bit overwhelmed. i should come try thr place after ramadan.

after hearing a lot aboutsirajdown town. i had decided to visit the restuarant finally. honestly i was not disappointed at all. i had ordered chicken beryani fattosh and juice. all was tasty and yummy. service was also perfect . the prices little bit expensive bit but affordable given the location . will definitely come back again. highly recommended
