we went siraj for a friend's birthday, we were 10 but got place easily.

i feel like menu is very limited , but still we managed to order.

we got the followings :
lentil , oats and tomato soup ,hummus , baba ghannouj, emirati mixed grill ( which was very less compared to price ) , meat arayes ( the best i had every ) a must try.

food was good , interior is perfect but i rated low cz of service ; i dnt know the reason but it was soooo sooo slow that we waited around 40 mins after starters , even after reminding all the servers it was the same answer 5 min, 5 mins.

i dnt think i will go again.

we also have shisha later on it was good .

i loved this place since the moment i got in. the decorations are incredibly stunning mixing the traditional elements of both syrian and emirati cultures. the food was great and delicious. i highly recommend siraj for everyone since it's located in the heart of dubai right next to dubai mall and burj khalifa.

excellent ambiance. great menu.
food quality is tasty. beryani was great and the margareta is exceptional. i had shofar soup which was really good. my only advice is the bread to be worked on.

this was actually a favorite of mine due to one dish the shrimp fatteh but to a menu update it's no longer available, heartbroken, so tried the new lamb version was dry an no where near as nice. still they have delicious pistachio rice n nice salads. service is great.

good food, especially the veal chops. however, terrible service, too slow & inattentive. plates weren't cleared unless they're told so, the waiters seemed confused.

it was a bad experience i have ever tried in dubai. the quality of the food is extremely bad expensive with awful quality and bad taste. i ordered shenklesh please salad with the fruits😖 & petes root salad & grape leaves & homus ,fry calamari and mix grill and majbos shrimb all of it west of money

to be honest, i had so many expectations of this restaurant because of the hype everyone has been into and also because hh sheikh mohammad bin rashid visited this restaurant. well, the restaurant service-wise is excellent and the waiters and waitresses are so friendly. however, the food was good but unfortunately it didn't manage to fulfil my expectations.

hummus: this not is your regular hummus 5/5

calamari: the calamari was a bit hard and the sauce was good but not wow in my opinion. the calamari should have been softer 3.5/5

kale salad: the infamous salad that made me give it a try. the first thing i would like to note about is that the salad is too sour and all i can taste is lemon, literally! the mixture of the dates and the nuts was a bold move that i appreciate. without those ingredients, all i could have tasted would be lemon. 3/5

wagyu sirloin grade 9+: the restaurant is reputed for this infamous dish and the waiter recommended it to me. i have to say that the steak was good but to be honest i have had much better at other places such as "culinary boutique". another thing i would like to talk about is that the dish is too heavy and it has so much spices. 3/5

lobster with saffron: good but not the best 3.5/5

pomegranate non-alcoholic champagne: a unique concept in which champagne can be also non alcoholic. anyways, the drink was invigorating and refreshing. would recommend it to anyone 5/5

the food was a bit too heavy so that is the reason i couldn't order desserts.

nice restaurant, good food, good service, expensive though.. but it has 20% off on zomato pro.. overall can try it once..

this resturant is overprice !! the food is not tasty at all and the portion is very little compare to the price. i believe that the resturant need to review their prices as well as their recipe!!

siraj, the authentically emirati restaurant with a contemporary twist, is the latest addition to the list of dining places at souk al bahar (downtown dubai). i’ve passed its premises on a number of occasions, and the stunning interiors make me take a second peek every time. the restaurant interiors pay tribute to the uae, with seven distinct arches representing each emirate. a flock of golden horses are suspended in mid-air, and the artistic vibes of siraj is all at once arabesque yet stylishly new-age. the most striking feature of the restaurant is the cursive calligraphy, flowing across the walls and the bar-stools. these are stanzas of poetry that were composed by the ruler of dubai, hh sheikh mohammed himself.

disappointed with the service it took 35 mins to get my juice, on top of that the waiters were rude & pushy when we made an order he would ask us individually thats it? like it wasnt enough what we ordered. when the time came to ask for the bill he was very shocked and ask dont you want dessert and started naming they had when i specifically asked for the bill that clear means no dessert. pushy waiters need to be trained to become more professional. prices are high for tiny portions.

a friend of me told me about @sirajrestaurant @soukalbahardubai so i was keen on trying it , bottom line nice interior designing , some interesting twists on some classics but thats about it, i found the food and service average, seriously over priced (fine dinning prices for a casual place !!!!) and the meat was low quality and inedible.
the best part of the overall experience was the expensive but very good desert ( luxury!! muhallabiyah and the date pudding)
you can get similar quality at 50 percent cheaper in other places or for the same price you can a seriously better offerings.
wouldn't go there again sorry :)

the service was excellent and the atmosphere of the cuisine is amazing. the food was so delicious but the portion of the main meal was small. the service was very professional and perfect for any guest who would visit this cuisine . i ordered beets salad for the appetizer which was delicious, well decorated and the portion was big . as for the main meal i ordered sea bass fish , which was delicious but the portion was small . my after all experience to this cuisine was amazing i highly recommend visiting this place for a special occasion.
