really great meal, a real staple of corona. we had no idea that this was the oldest restaurant in the town! this was our first time here and while we were overwhelmed by the wait they seated us really quickly. i got the iowa corn pancakes which were reallygoodand filling, tasted a lot like corn bread. waitstaff was nice and friendly.

went for breakfast and the wait was not bad. we were going to sit at the counter and was waiting on someone to clean the two empty spot. we stood behind the seats hoping someone will notice. the waitress knew we were there because she made eye contact. nobody did clean it and another couple just jump in and took the spot. once they did, the same waitress clean the spot. not sure if this was the policy but if it is, nobody told us about it

breakfast wasgoodand big. i had the 3 cheese omelet with 3 buckwheat pancakes. way too much food. the wife had the silver dollar special with potato pancakes. she said her pancake did not taste like potatoes.
