let me start by saying that i am being very generous with my rating for this place. and the only reason is that it is a newly opened outlet in town.
food was okayish. infact some were not upto the mark. i liked veg dishes more than non veg. the only thing i liked was chicken dum biriyani. it was rich and spicy. apart from that i didnt quite like anything that i can recommend. chicken tikka lababdar was actually suggested by them but was not good at all.
the staff is courteous but isn't efficient. they forget to put forward your orders and as a result one has to wait for really long. by thetimethey serve the food ordered your appetite just dies.
overall experience was not that good.
but to err is human and hence i have given a little higher rating than they actually deserve.

another sunday, another restaurant visit on the weekend.

we could easily get a table without prior reservation at 8pm. however the order taking and servingtimetaken by the restaurant staff was too much.

to take order, they took almost 15 mins post our entrytimeand another 30 mins to serve the first set of starters. we had ordered angarey khumb, lasooni tandoori jhinga and fish tikka alongside a couple of mocktails. the first set of starters were well presented even though served a bit late. post this we ordered a sweet corn soup and chilli prawns. this took like forever to serve. in fact the chilli prawns were literally thrown on the platter and brought by the waiter with a set of used cutlery. i had to point out to use fresh set of cutlery to serve.

overall food served at the restaurant is good in terms of taste, however they are not able to manage the tables well on a busy day like sunday. refill of water required us to call the waiters multiple times to which they were just ignoring and running helter skelter.

hope the service situation improves in the future.

pathetic mutton biryani. ordered for takeaway form the restaurant directly. costed roughly ₹ 420 and almost everything was inedible. the rice was too dry, similar to what happens when you reheat biryani multiple times. the mutton piece were unchewable, bland and dry. please avoid having mutton biryani from here. food quality take uigher precedence over ambience any-day. since i don't like to waste food, i had to donate it to someone in need of food. luckily, even he ate the rice jut cudnt chew the mutton and had to pass it on to its pet nearby. true story.

for biryani lovers, please avoid having biryani here. this was my first encounter with sigri, which i thought would be great, given the restaurants these days (intimeof covid-19) are hustling to give the best customer experiences, quality and taste.

management should take notice. this is a beautiful restaurant, please also keep the food tasty and of good quality. it's only because of this, people would even think of paying the ₹ 430 odd rupees, that you charge.

visited this place for the firsttimeand we had a good experience.staffs are well mannered and service was quick.they have ample seating place and food served was really good.please do try their tawa bhetki fry

the only problem you will face here is the waitingtimeto get a table. so i suggest u to book in advance, especially if you are going there on a sunday!

we had mutton biryani, keema pulao and tandoori chicken. the quantity was enough for two. loved the tandoori chicken. the staff was friendly. we were served by mr. bisheswar: a very humble guy . had a pleasanttimeat sigree

during my recent visit to kolkata, had thought of trying the buffet spread of sigree which i had heard so much about. but didn't get the chance. so had to settle for the newly opened sigree at bhubaneswar. they only had the à-la-carte menu, so my expectation went down a bit. nevertheless went on to order some of their popular dishes recommended by their staff. and to my surprise almost everything tasted amazingly good. had ordered lychee ginger buzz, angaray khumb, malai pudina tandoori aloo, angaray fish tikka, nazafgarh ka tandoori murgh in the appetizers. the tandoori preparation was on point. loved every dish. for the mains ordered paneer khurchan, murgh tikka lababdar, chicken biriyani and garlic naan. the biriyani gave off a pleasant aroma and tasted equivalently good. and i haven't had this good and soft of a garlic naan in ages which paired well with the gravies. not to forget the dessert- chena malpua with almond crumble and ice cream, was the perfect end to our meal. me and my family had a complete satisfactory lunch. it would've been a perfect 5 from me if not for the slow service. nexttimewhen in town, will definitely drop by again sometime.

it was my official visit to odisha so i tried sigree this time.

amazing food and service. i have ordered dhuan dum paneer makhni and some roti's as well as the dessert gulab rasamalai.

we have been at sigree kolkata for many times,went to sigree bhubaneswar with great expectations but this place totally disappointed. we ordered chicken afgani malai kebab,received our order ontimebut taste of the kebab was very blunt. they forgot to add salt in it even the pieces were very small. we ordered chicken biriyani and chicken lababdar in main course.
chicken biriyani was somewhat okay in taste but the quantity is very less one biriyani will not be sufficient for one person.chicken lababdar is nothing but chicken cooked in thick tomato puree. we didn't enjoy the taste.sigree global grill at spring club kolkata is much much better.service wasn't that good,they didn't offer us any napkin even after asking for it for multiple times.

well, this was my firsttimevisiting this branch. have planned always to go to the kolkata one, but somehow always the plan seemed to fail.
this one doesn't have buffet, so i got a bit disappointed.
but then, the food changed my mind.
the staff is really great and on top bengalis.
the interior is normal, nothing too fancy but nevertheless good.
ordered the below things -
dhuandhar lal murg tikka - loved it
nazafgarh ka tandoori murgh - this tasted very good, cooked and seasoned well.
fresh lime soda - no complains
lasooni tandoori jhinga - this is the least favorite of the things i ate here,but it was still 3.5/5. the seasoning seemed to be just in one part and not the other.
naan- very thin and soft. really good
murgh tikka lababdar - could have been a bit more spicy,the tomato flavor was too much for my liking but my mom liked it.
firni - one of the best i ever had.must try.

today was my 2nd visit to sigree and i was disappointed yet again. the firsttimeit was too much chaotic at the entry as well as inside the restaurant but i gave them the benefit of doubt as they seemed to be poorly staffed. i wasn't very impressed with the taste of the food as i prefer mildly spicy food and here it was completely bland. today as well the taste was average (bland, rather tasteless) but the quantity was too less too.

the waiters and attendants also need to work upon learning basic odia phrases to cater to bbsr'ites.

i don't think i will visit again👎 the food court of esplanade (outside the restaurant) has better varieties & taste to offer.
