please do not order from this place. the menu is over priced and taste is not even eligible for 1 star. basically the dish they are providing is similar to ready to eat stalls in road side. thisrestaurantis inside a "big" mall that's why they are charging that money to us but taste wise not worth a single penny. i advise not to order if you don't want to ruin your experience. pathetic service! you cheat us and nothing else.

the newly openedrestaurantof specialty group. located inside esplanade mall. on a random visit to mall i explored this place for dinner. ambience was quite soothing with good array of lightings. food was extremely delicious. we had paneer tikka, chicken makhani and couple of kulchas and naan. service was impeccable and staffs were cordial. will make a revisit soon.

well we have a famous indianrestaurantin the city and it has just opened doors at the esplanade mall. with their signature rustic brick red interiors, the place looks earthy and modern. food is good if not the best. you want complain about the quality. the chicken though in the butter masala gravy felt as if came directly out of the freezer. the quirky part is being a core indianrestaurantit stills retain 7-8 popular chinese dishes in the menu.

another sunday, anotherrestaurantvisit on the weekend.

we could easily get a table without prior reservation at 8pm. however the order taking and serving time taken by therestaurantstaff was too much.

to take order, they took almost 15 mins post our entry time and another 30 mins to serve the first set of starters. we had ordered angarey khumb, lasooni tandoori jhinga and fish tikka alongside a couple of mocktails. the first set of starters were well presented even though served a bit late. post this we ordered a sweet corn soup and chilli prawns. this took like forever to serve. in fact the chilli prawns were literally thrown on the platter and brought by the waiter with a set of used cutlery. i had to point out to use fresh set of cutlery to serve.

overall food served at therestaurantis good in terms of taste, however they are not able to manage the tables well on a busy day like sunday. refill of water required us to call the waiters multiple times to which they were just ignoring and running helter skelter.

hope the service situation improves in the future.

this place is a complete disaster. they’ve like 30-40 dishes(very very limited) in their menu and every single of them are over priced for the portion which they serve should be for a 12-15 year kid and on top of that they taste like nothing no smell no presentation nothing. a biryani which you should able to smell from a distance is surprisingly no smell even if you put your nose in it. the soup is equal to the amount which you’ll get in a instant soup pack in super markets. and the tikka i ordered may god have mercy on that, it’s a freaking boiled chicken coated with the tikka masala and baked in oven or something like that. i should’ve donated my 1000/- rupees to the poor and needy rather than spending on this fake restaurant. period.

pathetic mutton biryani. ordered for takeaway form therestaurantdirectly. costed roughly ₹ 420 and almost everything was inedible. the rice was too dry, similar to what happens when you reheat biryani multiple times. the mutton piece were unchewable, bland and dry. please avoid having mutton biryani from here. food quality take uigher precedence over ambience any-day. since i don't like to waste food, i had to donate it to someone in need of food. luckily, even he ate the rice jut cudnt chew the mutton and had to pass it on to its pet nearby. true story.

for biryani lovers, please avoid having biryani here. this was my first encounter with sigri, which i thought would be great, given the restaurants these days (in time of covid-19) are hustling to give the best customer experiences, quality and taste.

management should take notice. this is a beautiful restaurant, please also keep the food tasty and of good quality. it's only because of this, people would even think of paying the ₹ 430 odd rupees, that you charge.

loved it, live up to its expectations. (second best after their powai outlet) 1. food was amazing, their parathas were amazing. must try - their famous dal makhni which is made of excess ghee. even the sabji we ordered was great along with many varieties of bread. starter - some aloo tikki which was fine. 2. service was prompt, fast and good. they know how to serve - put up a smile on your face, be enthusiastic and help your customers while ordering. 5/5 for that. 3. ambience is nice with ample seating arrangements. prices are little high but i am absolutely fine with it after considering their food and service. food chains from bombay always excel in this particular aspect. low-key the bestrestaurantin bhubaneswar.

we were there last night for dinner. good to see a fullrestaurant. we were eight of us and there was a problem of seating for eight as this is a relatively small and odd size of restaurant.

having visited other sigree restaurants in different cities we ordered their best sellers as in.... dum murg kebab, mutton rogan josh paneer makhani sigree special black dal ( names could appear differently) and different breads to go with it.

the food was absolutely a let down. the kebabs were dry, rogan josh looked more like just any other bhuna hua mutton , the breads came in cold. the best was the phirni we ordered.

but overall a let down. therestaurantcannot handle a full house. i would not mind if i am called to let you know in detail about the shortcomings last night.

i am a die hard foodie and a food blogger too.

anyways wish you luck and would like to visit once therestaurantis a little less crowded.

sigree is one of the popular brand of the speciality restaurant's long list of exoticrestaurantchain. they opened their first outlet in bhubaneswar recently and i was so eager to visit there. the subtle lighting suited with the ambient decor will definitely transport you to the era of the nawabs and sultans. and talking about the food, it was really amazing and lip-smacking.
the fish tikka was just awesome, perfectly marinated in spices and cooked. it was also so tender and soft from inside, giving a delicious treat to the taste buds.
do visit this place if you love authentic indian food.

cannot write about food as we were not allowed to have food there.
last evening 28th july we went there and asrestauranthas no table they asked us to wait fr 15 min. we (4people) were waiting and chatting with frnds...we requested fr a table after 20 min and they asked us to wait fr another 5-7 min..by then there was another group of 8 persons came and was waiting... suddenly i saw the bigger group entering in therestauranton request of the manager.,..we retaliated fr that and they said they were arranging another table fr us it was near about 45 min we were waiting unattended.. nd after that the table they arranged was occupied by a group of 4 who were still having their dessert....so we had to wait fr another 10-15min...ultimately we had to leave the place with no apology frm the manager who were good fr their business but utterly wrong morally which is an integral part of hospitality business
for attending a group of 8 person they missed a family of 25 who is fond of dinning out regularly

suggest the sigree team to balance between good business and ethical business practices

one of the worst experiences i had in terms of food and hospitality. we reached therestaurantat 9.30pm and were asked to wait for 15 mins. we didn't get a table before 10.30pm. some estimation. there was a point in between when the manager himself came out and said 5 mins but it took a good 30mins after that as well. when we complained about the service, he looked at us as if we were aliens.also the food wasn't that great. we tried mutton rogan josh, dhaniya murg and chilli chicken. everything was average. the people around are so laid back. no proper service. also due to the texture of table, it will never be clean enough for you. you will realize this when you go there.
