this cafe in mcleodganj being one of the most popular ones, is highly overrated. for the price they charge for food, quantity is very less. service is slow, staff has got next level attitude.
the only good thing that brings people to this place is it being beside bhagsu waterfall, still an average location according to me.
we orderedpizzaalong with few other things and trust me you would find way better thin crust pizzas at the same price elsewhere.

waste of money and efforts for me. worth a miss.

you reach the place after trekking 2 kms but the food was a little disappointing. somehow the manchurian had potato chunks in it. noodles had burnt flavor.pizzawas a little bland. the quantity was good and price was reasonable.

this place is located at the top most of the bhagsu waterfall. i have visited it few months back when i was on vacation. you'll have to track about 1.5-2km distance.
some how we reached there and the view from that place was fabulous.
the cafe have really amazing decor and posters were also attractive. it was full of crowd.
i have ordered a cheese & onionpizzaand a cheese & mushroom pizza.
the price were little bit expensive may be because it's located at mountains.
the food quality is good. but the service is really slow here we have waited for 40 minutes to get our order. it was good experience. worth visiting place

reaching this place is altogether a separate task! we started from bhagsu parking to go uphill, on the way took a splash at bhagsu waterfalls! this cafe is above the waterfalls as well.

to reach shiva cafe, need around 30 mins of walk uphill! the place is worth the walk! cafe is situated at such a beautiful place with scenic views down and also such a big place with indoor and outdoor seatings! tables as well as sit on the floor!

loved the atmosphere with shiva mantras playing on the speakers early morning when we reached around 10am.

ordered : pizza, spanish omlette, nutella pancakes, hot chocolate, tea

i would say must try thepizzahere! omg! the taste of thepizzawas soooo delicious! cannot forget the taste of thepizzastill!

do visit this place, relax and have fun time around!

only drawback is : place accepts only cash and no other mode of payments!

the hike upto this very very recommended and highly rated cafe is great.
you shall exhaust yourself if you're unfit like me.

the whole lotta tourists are there - mostly for the vibes, photos and views.
food is very average.

took 1.5 hours for food to be served.
egg curry with chapati was good.
mushroom enchiladas was too ketchup-y plus no beans at all. more like a mushroom-ketchup puff.
shakshuka was very red of colour, tasted okay.

go for the views - eat maggie, chai andpizzaand don't experiment with other foods like we did.

as you trek to the top of bhagsu waterfalls, this cafe is the best destination to satisfy all your hunger goals amidst the beautiful n serene nature. there is seating arrangements indoors as well as outdoors facing the waterfall. we tried farmhousepizzaand coffee and both were amazing!! overall, loved the experience and the food!! 💯

shiva cafe is situated after a climb up from bhagsu falls.
we tried -
1) farmhousepizza- it was good and cheesy.
2) honey chilli potatoes - they weren't crisp at all we didn't like them.
3) tea - pretty good with nice aroma and flavour.

shiva cafe is quite pretty and serene for sure but i found the food to be quite average.

this is the popular cafe in mcleodganj above the bhagsunath waterfalls. you need to trek for 15-20 mins above the waterfall. the place is quite happening with old seatings. the atmosphere created makes the cafe more charming. with grafitti and other simplicity.
even though the food is just okayish it is short of staff and people come in huge numbers.
• i ordered the farmhousepizzawhich was okay but it came after 40 mins. also i need to cancel my hashbrown potatoes which i ordered long back .
the staff is very humble and tries to focus on everybody . a nice place to visit but you need to wait for a very long time to have food.

awsomazing is the word for this cafe..hardly 15 mins walk uphills from bhagsunag falls.. this picture friendly place has a beautiful ambience.. perfect view.. delicious food..peaceful.. courteous staff.. we had mushroom soup and sweet and sour soup.. which were amazing.. i dint expect mushroom soup to be that heavenly in an isolated cafe uphills.. also we had vegetable noodles and wood oven pizza.. noodles were kinda desi style bt was good to taste..pizzawas also enjoyable.. all in all must visit place when you are in mcleodganj..

good things first-menu is very good, has a lot of varieties and food is very delicious.we orderedpizzaand sizzlers for veg, pizzahad 8 slices and had thin crust.for sizzlers, the quantity was little less but the taste was good.
some negatives-the café is located at a height which is difficult to reach.so when you are hungry and planning to go to cafe, by the time you reach there you are famished and after having belly full meal by the time you reach down, you are hungry again! waiters are less so service is slow.mocktails are kind of okayish.

overall-good

first of all , you will have to struggle a lot to reach this place because one has to walk for more than a kilometer to reach this cafe, no vehicles are allowed to reach this place. it took us around 20 minutes to reach this place. the ambience and the vibe of this place is quite worth it. i loved the music. we ordered farmhousepizzawhich was delactable and 1 chickenpizzawhich was average.

after an entertaining time at the bhagsu nag waterfall, you must visit the shiva cafe to settle your appetite. located above bhagsu nag, this cafe is a 10-12 minute walk uphill. there are signboards to easily locate it. the atmosphere here is excessively enchanting and relaxing. you can sit back on the couches and relax with some sheesha and a bite to eat. the interiors as well as exteriors were decorated extremely well and what caught my attention most was the small pool outside, with a model of a snake emerging from the rocks. amazing innovation !
ordered a chickenpizzaand it was worth the wait ! the place is inevitably packed and we had to wait for 15 minutes to get a couch. when we got it, we didn’t feel like leaving. the music was soothing and the service was quick. had a delightful time. after a tiring time at the waterfall, this is just what we were looking for. a place to sit back and relax, good food, soothing music and a relaxing atmosphere. must visit for anyone visiting bhagsu nag !
