i am a visitor to the kzoo area. i live in one of the most heavily middle eastern populations in the usa. i am used to the bestfoodand service. i love the food. its great. machallah. however after spending 25$ on food, i was waiting for myfoodand was told i could use the wifi to get my itinerary for my flight. there were open tables so i chose a 2 seater in the back. then the owner mazen came out and yelled at me for using the wifi and taking a table. i just spent 25$ there. i suppose that didn't include the price of the free wifi. hmmm. now i come to visit and opt to takeout rather than suffer the unwarranted abuse by an angry owner. very scary for me to have a big man yelling at me for doing what i asked his brother permission for. i thought they were co-owners but apparently not. the brother nadil didn't even correct his brother. very disappointed with the owners not the food. i highly suggest takeout!!!!!

best shawarma in michigan. not only is thefoodamazing, but the staff is very friendly and they always seem to have a smile on their face. how could you not when you're serving up the best lebanese cuisine in michigan? the owners are great people and you can tell thatfoodis their passion which definately shows in their product.

if this says anything, if i want take out and no where sounds special, i default to el gallo blanco or here. why? great homemadefoodfor cheap. i love the grape leaves and hummus with lamb. wish they still used pinenuts instead of almonds now. sandwiches have to be the best deal in town with the tamales from el gallo blanco.

i know of nowhere else in southwest michigan, where you can get a made-from-scratch delicious and filling meal for under $10. additionally the best place for veganfoodin kalamazoo.

2nd time, good as the first. i returned to shawarma king and was again greeted with great enthusiasm by the staff. they make everyone feel at home. i ordered takout - fattoush salad, hommus and a chicken shawarma. all were wonderfully flavorful. the shawarma has a garlic sauce that makes the sandwich! i'm not usually a chopped salad fan, but the fattoush is refreshing and tasty.foodis prepared and packaged quickly and i was out the door in well less than 10 minutes.

a bit of the middle east. the furnishings are plain and a little shabby; thefoodis excellent. they'll treat you like a cherished friend: the chef calls out to greet you when you come in. everything on the menu is great: especially the gallayah (vegetables and your choice of meat in a lovely sauce), the hoummous, the fattoush (salad greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, fried pita bits with a great dressing). the chicken with hoummous is my fav-always moist, juicy and perfect. try the blended, fresh lemonade with mint!
