love it! inexpensive and great selection. the combo with chicken shawarma wrap, rice or fries, and soup or salad is a lot of food for a low price. the mango banana smoothie is the bomb. the owners are so friendly and welcoming. i dig the coriander chicken and i ask for veggies to go with. check it out!

the staff are very nice and the service is very good. but, an arab restaurant has to make good hummus and bans ganouge. this one doesn't make the grade

don't listen to the other reviewers. yes, they're busy cause they're that good! and they don't have a lot of tables. i go there on the regular, and the staff are awesome and make sure you're happy with what you've ordered. and duh, if you're going with a party of eight anywhere, try calling ahead maybe? i digress... the lentil soup is awesome with a squirt of lemon, the kabobs are wonderful and the kaftas are so flavorful! the portions are big for the price and of course, you should finish off your meal with their baklava and turkish coffee!!!

very busy place at sunday lunchtime. had to wait awhile for a party of 8 even though the place is rather large. dishes were creative and tasty. a bit pricey. location easy to find and park. decor very nice.

date night. first time visiting we went on a sunday night around 5:00pm, the restaurant was very busy, but the wait staff was friendly and attentive, eager to answer any questions about the menu. food was served to order very quickly and was delicious! the menu is very large with a lot of variety even for those with food allergies. definitely plan on going back!

kabob haus next door is so much tastier and a more genuine experience. their little sandwiches are just ok - heavy on garlic. i love middle eastern food and theirs is pretty good. okay place for lunch.

good and cheap. so good. authentic middle-eastern cuisine. i always order the rbd wrap and add fallafel. i can't get enough of their garlic sauce and hommous. fattoush salad, lentil soup, and turkish coffee are must haves. i have ventured away from the wraps but none of the entrees are quite as satisfying.

i am a visitor to the kzoo area. i live in one of the most heavily middle eastern populations in the usa. i am used to the best food and service. i love the food. its great. machallah. however after spending 25$ on food, i was waiting for my food and was told i could use the wifi to get my itinerary for my flight. there were open tables so i chose a 2 seater in the back. then the owner mazen came out and yelled at me for using the wifi and taking a table. i just spent 25$ there. i suppose that didn't include the price of the free wifi. hmmm. now i come to visit and opt to takeout rather than suffer the unwarranted abuse by an angry owner. very scary for me to have a big man yelling at me for doing what i asked his brother permission for. i thought they were co-owners but apparently not. the brother nadil didn't even correct his brother. very disappointed with the owners not the food. i highly suggest takeout!!!!!

best shawarma in michigan. not only is the food amazing, but the staff is very friendly and they always seem to have a smile on their face. how could you not when you're serving up the best lebanese cuisine in michigan? the owners are great people and you can tell that food is their passion which definately shows in their product.

if this says anything, if i want take out and no where sounds special, i default to el gallo blanco or here. why? great homemade food for cheap. i love the grape leaves and hummus with lamb. wish they still used pinenuts instead of almonds now. sandwiches have to be the best deal in town with the tamales from el gallo blanco.

best lebanese. since moving to atlanta, i still have fond memories of shawarma king. i've searched in vain for something even remotely comparable. everytime i come up to michigan, i make sure to go to shawarma king at least once.the shawarma is done right with the meat shaved right off of the revolving spit. i recently ordered a shawarma platter and a side of falafels at a place here in atlanta. they sautee the shawarma. what blasphemy is this? i miss shawarma king and i highly recommend it. also, please try the minty lemonade. it's sooo good (and i don't really even like lemonade)
