just had the most amazing thing happen tonight at seymour grill. we (a party of 6) walked in, sat down and ordered and after a while, when our food had not yet arrived, we started to wonder what was going on. eventually, our server came out to apologize and let us know that the cook had up and quit and that our food would be a while. long story short, we had to wait a while for our food, which was hot and delicious when it arrived by the way, but as we neared the end of our meal the owner came over to our table to apologize and told us that the meal was on her. i was stunned. it would be different if there were just one or two of us in our party, but she took care of the entire check. she has completely restored my faith incustomerservice and proved that there are still businesses out there who put thecustomerfirst. she just earned acustomerfor life.
