works for me. this is probably going to be the strangest food review ever, but stick with me. i have been to a rash of local joints lately and most of them have been major disappointments (see reviews). i can't help but love this place. the food is good, the atmosphere is great - it's "country", outdated, and the friendliness of the staff is hit or miss - but there's something incredibly comforting about my time there that makes me want to return on a daily basis. they have extremely reasonable lunch specials, most of which are $5.95 including drink, and the breakfast specials are cheap as well. so far, i'm responsible for each picture of food that's on here, so i've tried quite a few dishes. the cuban panini was delicious, made from thick-sliced pork roast, thinly-sliced ham and melty cheese all on an herb-infused roll. i've also tried and loved theirbeefand noodles, which had big chunks of roast and real noodles. the eggs are great, and the fried potatoes are delicious. even the pepsi tastes better there. do yourself a favor and try this one.
