really good value for its location! really enjoyed my hotdog but their mustard had a tinge of horseradish so beware if that doesn’t work for you.

was here for an evening snack/dinner with friends. the place itself is not super huge, so be sure to go get a seat inside. their kimchi fried chicken sandwich and homemade poutine fries are definitely worth trying! was a pleasant experience! food, price, ambiance, service-4/5

really good fries. the smallest serving size is actually huge. it comes with a dipping sauce of your choice. i chose the cheddar ale and it was delicious. i ran out of dip towards the end because i dipped too liberally at the start so of you're a heavy dipper get a second tub for an extra 75c. the fries are still great on their own.

did you know that there’s a restaurant in boston that has over 15 kinds of dipping sauces for french fries? oh yes people, saus has flavors like “saturday night chive” with fresh chives and sour cream, “cheddar duvel” with sharp and mild cheddar and duvel ale (served warm), and “ole chipotle” with chipotle in adobo, lime juice, cilantro and house made mayo. any restaurant that designs its menu around french fries is aok in my book! i camp out early to be the first one in and grab a table close to the counter. tight quarters in here, but most people are taking out.

come here for the fries and poutine and extraordinary list of dipping sauces. feel free to overlook the sandwiches: they won't really leave an impression. i suppose this joint's popular with the nearby faneuil hall pub crowds, as the grub perfectly tames excess drinking. the aura is laissez-faire self-service, so don't expect clean tabletops and spotless floors. seating is a bit too "cozy."

we were here for the waffles but then we could not help the smell of the fries and poutines. the fries were good and the waffle found it a bit salty but overall it was good but the beer price was a little bit too pricey... but we went here at 11 an the crowd just kept comin!! overall, great experience and friendly staff!!!

one thing i love about boston is their great restaurant selection . the other day i went to lunch with some friends at a completely unique venue named saus.  saus specializes in - you guessed it - sauces! they have over 15 unique flavors to choose from, including: curry ketchup the vampire slayer (roasted garlic, roasted garlic oil, mayo) the panda saus (peanut butter, soy sauce, sate saus, chili paste) samurai (chili paste, mayo) saturday night chive (fresh chives, sour cream) green monster (jalapenos, habaneros, fresh cilantro, garlic)...

saus was exactly what we needed. a comic-clad “street food” shop offering all manner of frites, poutine, snacks and sandwiches. i chose the plain frites with “samuraisaus,” a chili and mayo combination with the shrimp and scallion fritters with a deliciously refreshing chili dipping sauce, fittingly named “green monster”. the shrimp and scallion fritters tasted like the shrimp cheong fun from la maison kam fung in montreal, only fried (‘murica.) i couldn’t decide whether to dip the fritters in my samurai saus or the green monster sauce. both complimented the fritter and left a lingering heat.

saus elevates the humble potato to a fine art. belgian style fries, hand cut daily and served with your choice of condiment are their specialty. and they whole-heartedly believe in the power of the condiment, which is why they offer over 15 unique sauces, not including homemade mayo, ketchup, and gravy. try the ole chipotle (chipotle in adobo, lime juice, fresh cilantro, mayo), the sweet bill's bbq (onions, cider vinegar, spices, mesquite smoke) or the bacon parm (applewood smoked bacon, parmesan). just around the corner from faneuil hall, check out saus at 33 union st.

if you're getting into boston on a flight that arrives at midnight and your connecting airport had no food worth eating, you have a few options. if it's friday or saturday, one of them is saus. belgian street dogs, fries, pork belly poutine, chicken and waffles, a crap ton of dipping sauces, and beer!

saus, located in faneuil hall, serves up belgian-inspired street food in a casual (and tiny) setting. the star of the show here are their crispy, perfectly salty belgian-style fries, served with your choice of dipping sauces. other menu options include lighthearted fare that pair well with fries (and are greasy enough for optimal late-night snacking), including waffles and sandwiches.
