okay this is hands down the best vegan/healthy food i’ve had in town! the eco friendly interiors, the friendly staff, the food... this place is an absolute delight!

we started off with chilled watermelons gazpacho- it was amazing. just the correct amount of sweetness

beet root andspinachhummus- amazing. you have to try it. 10/10 recommended

avocado sushi dynamite roll- i think this is probably the best sushi i’ve had here.

pan seared zucchini kebabs- it was a little bland compared to everything else, you can let this one pass.

tofu and thai vegetable burger: really, really good! the bun was perfectly soft, filled with spices and to balance the slight sweetness of the burger they give karela chips and trust me it’s so good!

salted caramel mud cake: 100/10! again this is a must have!

chocolate matcha truffle forest: this one was pretty good but a little sweet. if you like desserts a little less sweeter, i’d recommend the mud cake but if you like chocolatey sweetness you can go for this!

absolutely loved the whole experience. the personal touch of the owner makes you feel truly at home. josua took us through the top items of the huge menu this place offers. tried the beetroot andspinachhommus, curry dimsums, and 2 different pizza's. for the main course he recommended the bajra risotto which was wonderful and full of flavour. for dessert we had the rasmalai watermelon sandwich which was very good.
a small suggestion would be to highlight the best dishes so that customers can easily order instead of getting confused.
overall a wonderful dinner at sante. coming back very soon to try more things.

lovely ambiance, good food presentation and quality. enjoyed beet root andspinachhummus. veggie pizza was nice. strawberry shake was yum. risotto was ok not great. only disappointment was the khow suey - although i am comparing to some of the best burmese food serving restaurants in the country. overall would recommend visiting this place.

sante spa definitely hits the spot when it comes to “saatvik aahar”. meals served are fresh & nutritious with peaceful ambience.
i absolutely loved my very first visit but didn’t happen to enjoy the second ones.

things i tried:
vegan beetroot &spinachhummus: texture of hummus was beautiful & tasted heavenly! (5/5)

vegan crunchy chlorophyll dimsums : super refreshing dish for the palate. (4/5)

farm fresh pizza : is my favourite pick from their menu. crispy ragi base topped with lots of veggies. (5/5)

whole wheat spaghetti in pink sauce: creaminess from white sauce was missing. way too much of tanginess from tomato sauce brought the dish downhill. (2/5)

coming to desserts, both the time i visited they hardly had 2-3 options available on menu. it was disheartening as i wanted to try more goodies.

vegan valrhona chocolate pie: perfect for the days when you want to indulge in nothing but rich dark chocolate. (5/5)

salted caramel mud cake: comforting piece of cake, was beyond yum at first visit so ordered on second one too! unfortunately this time the texture was a bit dry. (4/5)

it would have been soo much better if second visit presented the taste buds same way as first ones & served more dessert options on plate. yet i highly recommend this place, surely one of gem in ahmedabad :)

service and hygiene here is top notch, kudos to team for pulling it off so well !!

absolutely loved the food at santé spa. my favourite was the bowl of mediterranean vegetables. and of course the hot chocolate. which is a generous portion and made exactly the way its supposed to be, without compromise.
tried the red thai curry vegetables, beetroot andspinachhummus, baked sweet potato, falafel shawarma burger too and they was great. love how they cook the brown rice. it doesn’t feel like a strain to eat, one bit.

i’ll definitely frequent. thank you!

sante spa is a delight to visit ! being a chennai resident for the past two-and-a-half decades, i loved the hospitality, the service and the sensitivity to the needs of the customer that are given such importance here. they have vegan options in general, alkaline and other dietary suited options as per the requirements of the customer.

we visited them on january 20th, 2021, a wednesday (a weekday). we were a small group of five.

beginning with the soup, the spinach, hemp soup is a must try! absolutely delicious. the tomato soup is finely made as well, but it does seem pretty standard and home-like. the wooden soup spoons and crockery used in the shape of a mug that is used to serve the soup in, surely adds to setting the right appetite.

in the short eats / starters / appetizing morsels as santé calls it, we had a plethora of options. dim-sums, sushi rolls, guacamole, black beans, what not. a special green pav bhaji was made for us thanks to the offer of our wonderful executive assistant! it was phenomenal. served with about 6 portions of wheat-based pav, neatly cut into two, horizontally (which spared us a ton of anxiety about the perfect cut). there was a few onions and lime on the side with the bhaji to enhance the taste after having placed the bhaji on the bottom half.
recommendations - edamame dumplings, the guacamole (it is to die for, and the chips are really good, although a bit disproportionate to the dip, in terms of quantity), the crunchy chlorophyll dumplings are a must try if you’re a thai red curry fan! kimchi dumplings were pretty sour, but went well with a dip that they gave. not the standard kimchi that we relish at pan-asian restaurants in india, quite different. worth giving it a try if you’re a kimchi connoisseur! the avocado sushi rolls were fabulous with the soya sauce.

to have a little drink with your food at this point, the following ones were pretty good -

- activated charcoal lemonade
- pineapplespinachspearmint bottlegourd pomegranate (really packed with all the bells and whistles!)
- moringa protein almond shake
- strawberry shake (my absolute favourite!) - must try

main course made us go tizzy once again, with the variety of options on offer.
quinoa biriyani, quinoa penne primavera seemed to be popular options, but we went ahead with the roti served with a raita and, methi panneer bhurjee (the panneer here was gluten-free). incredibly well made would be an understatement.

the whole wheat spaghetti, kale pesto took the cherry for everyone. protein rich, filled with vegetables wonderfully sautéed and a mild sauce that was all done so well together, made us all want to have more and more of it. everything around the table disappeared at that moment !

the thin crust pizzas have always been a signature dish here. the organic farm fresh vegetables with all that you can ask for, were done beautifully. the cheese on the pizza did not feel like it was anything unusual, but it indeed was, and you only realised that, much later after having finished eating.

with this sumptuous meal and more, i think this place is one which is perfectly balanced in more ways than one, making the foodie and the health-freak want to revisit often! a must go to restaurant for any meal of the day if you are in chennai.

the lunch experience - a little expensive. but the quality makes up for it.
we had the hummus for the starters. loved the beetroot more than thespinach.
i feel in the love the dimsum especially the gravy.
i had the vietnamese noodles which was amazing . it was the winner.
the spicy korean rice could have been spicier.
music was relaxing.
total - 3.5/5. i would give a 4 for the dimsum.

had to order home our diwali dinner, due to the pandemic situation. could not have chosen a better place! really loved each and every dish! the tofu ratatouille dish was exceptional and my favorite! green pav bhaji, mediterranean quinoa salad andspinachbeetroot hummus with khakra chips were really good starters- super yumm! green pizza - loved the concept and the flavors, had to heat it a bit in the oven to make it crisp again, taste was good, base had become soggy. waiting to order again and try out new healthy options!

food:
pan-seared zucchini kebab - a mild-spiced, soft fibre rich kebab; rich in flavours with the guacamole aiding its taste; the lettuce with the kebab was perfect with not much aberration from the zucchini flavour
.
zucchini zoodles, hemp pesto - noodles made out of zucchini immersed in aspinachand cashew cheese sauce; the presentation itself demands praise with much attention to detail; with the spicy sauce and the crunchiness, this was the perfect vegan meal for any time
.
tofu ratatouille bowl - brown rice served with saucy tofu (roma tomatoes probably); the gravy was spot on but some might have an aversion to the eggplant though; the soft tofu was fresh and great
.
crimson rise pizza - a pizza base (thin) made from gluten-free multigrain loaded with olives, saucy roma tomatoes with cranberries; easily one of the best with not so gooey cheese, sweet berries yet palpable. not heavy and not the regular pizza!!!
.
belgian dark chocolate granola smoothie - never imagined a healthy smoothie with so many proteins; the almonds, flak seeds with the pomegranate gave a crunchy kick while the cacao and peanut butter was tummy filling; not so sweet but smooth and rich in taste
.
masala chai - almond milk-based tea with vanilla sugar; was pretty refreshing to end on a high; though tasted conventional there definitely was something with every sip

ambience/price:
hands down, this place has the best ambience in chennai. not exaggerating since everyone who had been here would love their outdoor seating, lighting (for indoors), the rustic setup with good seating space. parking might not be a problem while the service was perfect. though there was some waiting time, this place does catch everyone's attention with proper vegan food.
talking about the price, this place is expensive with their signature dishes and amazing food. can definitely try out occasionally owing to their modern twist to vegan and diet-based foods.
