everytime i have been here,theplacehas definitely outdone itself.if you are crazy about chocolates and have a bad craving some day,this is theplaceto go to.hands down,one of the best dessert places in chennai.

goodplaceto eat with a good atmosphere at a reasonable price.quality food served in portions that are small but fine for small craving which can fill tummy😛

visited sandy's recently with family , quite ambience with friendly staff.menu had quite interesting names but would have been helpful if it had description too...can't keep asking the staff for all in the menu..ordered that little chocolate which made my daughters jaw drop over the size of the pastry😍she enjoyed every bit and shared it too with us which is unusual 😁as it was too big for poor soul 🤣 another choosy daughter had chocolate overdose...and fell in love with that instantly....😍my hubby's choice was double chocolate brownie which he said was just good as he had tasted better ones...finally was my order funky monkey a caramelized banana with ice cream n whipped cream a total disaster for taste buds n wallet😫over all not so pocket friendly....greatplacefor chocolate based everything...as the name suggests😀

i actually have been to this to this for the best reviews given. from my personal experience there, theplaceis quiet and peaceful. it's one of my favorite places now for the desserts.how can i ever forget the hot chocolate, its the best and must try.the presentation of the dessert was upto the mark and worth the money.

if you want great food, no compromise, then this is theplaceto go. however, the price is slightly on the higher side for the quantity. the ambience might put off some people although you get accustomed to it after a while.
on the great food, topping the list is the chicken lasagna with its heavenly flavour. definitely try out the chicken wings too (picture isn't great but the taste will take you for a ride). dessert was the hardest to pick because of the amount of choices you get. "something chocolate" is an actual dish there and i'd recommend that for those with a sweet tooth. the additional sides that come with every burger/sandwich really accentuates the experience.
overall a greatplaceto dine out especially if you're going as part of a group of people.

mini chocolate cake was excellent!
price was bit high! but it was compensated with the taste.
the quantity was little less. but again the taste of the cakes was just amazing! god damn cheese cake. it was too delecious!

thisplacehas been good for a pretty long time for its continental stuff especially desserts. the steak is pretty okay. portions suck.

desserts are good. cheese cake is awesome if you can ignore again the portion size which they think they wanna imitate the michelin star restaurants for.

good for kids etc. their break fast menu is also good and coffee is nice.

probably, one of the famous cafes in nungambakkam, theplacewas filled with millennials during our visit. this is a testament to their customer base and the type of crowd they attract. the food was really nice and the service was quick, amidst the crowd we had. the red velvet cake was the best out of the lot. it was so good that we managed to have one at theplaceand got another one for takeaway. their coffee and tea collection is really good as well.

went to thisplacewith great expectations..but entered and ambience was not that great in first place..then i ordered brownie milkshake and instructed to not add whipped cream but even after that i got with whipped cream . quantity was very less and it was over sweet.ordered cold coffee was so watery .no taste at all.overall waste of my time and money would not go here again

this was the firstplacewe decided to give a try after the second wave. we drove in for breakfast and much to our delight it was empty. we took a look at their menu and they have revamped or should i say ramped down? my favorite eggs benedict was removed from their menu. we ordered a couple of variations of egg omelets and waffles and to wash it down we ordered hot chocolate and expresso. the omelets and the beverages were good. the hard waffle left a lot to be desired. overall a pleasant experience. do check the latest menu if you are planning to visit for your old favorites!

i vistited thisplaceon a saturday,was not very crowded.nutella tiramisu was soo yum.tuna sandwich was tasty.

this cafe has lost its charm. waiters are busy for no reason . had been to thisplacebefore , but now the quality and service has gone down drastically. not going to visit here anymore .

sandy’s is my gotoplacefor desserts. have been a regular visitor to their teynampet branch but this is the first time i went to nungambakkam branch. we were here after a heavy lunchh and i knew i wanted my dessert fix only from sandy’s.

ordered millionaires cheesecake nutella tiramisu, can’t make up my mind and classic sandy’s hot chocolate.

millionaires cheese cake- perfect chocolate moist cheesecake that melts in the mouth. nutella tiramisu was yummy too. perfect balance of chocolate and coffee flavour and yet again smooth that i licked of the whole glass. can’t make up my mind is a mix of brownie, cookie and cheesecake . it’s like a three in one . base so that of a cheesecake, top layer is that of a brownie and middle layer is a cookie layer. perfect for a cheesecake lover. sandy’s hot chocolate is one the best in town. so smooth and silky. and yesterday being a cloudy day in chennai, not having a hot chocolate is a sin 😉

total bill was ₹758, slightly pricey for dessert but worth it .

this is definitely a chocolate lover’s paradise. loved the quality of the chocolates used, so rich and creamy.

we had a nutella tiramisu, dark decadence, sandy’s hot chocolate fudge and brownie with ice cream.

i loved the nutella tiramisu which tasted excellent. dark decadence requires a special mention, it is loaded with cashews and chocolate and it is definitely not for the weight watchers. but the taste is to die for. i equally the brownie with ice cream. least favourite was the sandy’s hot chocolate fudge which i felt was full of cream and less of chocolate.

price came up to 1000 bucks which is a vfm and i would rate 4/5.

easily the worst experience i’ve ever had in a restaurant. very bad service. manager and the waiters aren’t kind. the food is good i must agree. but they’re going to loose a lot of customers because of their terrible service and the manager. they’ve already lost a customer while i type this review...
i strongly recommend not to visit thisplacebecause of their terrible attitude and service.
