for me, what can make or ruin a good breakfast is the basics. people in ottawa are used to good coffee, and at the very least home fries need to be fresh. shlg needs to do better much better with both. serving bridgehead coffee and elevating the home fries would restore my faith.

a specialneighbourhoodpub. when someone cares about what they do, it shows. the food at shlag is always creative and delicious, they serve generous portions, and the prices are very reasonable. that it's in my own 'hood makes it extra special. bravo!
