sandwichworkz - the fusion street cafe

just passed by for some work so i planned to just give these guys one more chance. i rmb entering the restaurant with high expectations (since ppl recommended so much) and walked out angrily after having an awfully ruined plate of mashed potatoes. i was thinking, a place which is famous for breakfast and all, how do their ppl not know how to make a proper plate of mashed potatoes? anyways i just entered and ordered for a spinach mushroom and cheese omelette and a banana cake with chocolate ice cream. pretty good i would say. omelette was awesomely done and i guess they cud have put a better quality butter on the bread. although banana cake totally needed atasteof banana but the bit of crunchiness and the hit of chocolate is just perfect. so i thought ok lets give the smashed potato a chance. told them to specially put more potatoes and less of whatever that makes it so gooey and sticky and not mashed-potato-alike. i would say this place is probably not the place for a breakfast with mashed potatoes cos it seems like no matter what they do their mashed potatoes are just not up to the mark (idk why!) anyways experience is good and thw owner is also friendly and willing to take opinions and comments. thats almost the most important thing i think being in the service industry.

masala cheese omelette is really good. sitaphal shake is good, may give it a try! all veg triple layer sandwich is good intasteand quantity as well. overall it is nice place for the fusion meals, recommended for breakfast.

absolutely the best keema in town! have been going to this place since years and the foodtasteand quality hasn’t changed one bit. its good food made with a lot of love. everything here is good, especially breakfast items. it tastes like home food. this is a must visit place. the aunty who owns the place overlooks everything and makes sure you have the best food experience - this adds to why this place is so highly rated amongst foodies.

if you plan on visiting this place, just go ahead!

waffles are the best. the sweet and savory kind. both are genuine andtastelike the ones in the states which i loveeee.
the egg sandwiches and hash browns are also so damn good. the coffee is also 💯. love this place for breakfast and love that it opens earl unlike some places in the city which have breakfast items on the menu but open at 11. what’s the point of that?

i lost count how many times i visited this place. its one of my favourites. tried so many egg items and all were good. usually i ask them to customise little for desi tadkatasteand they do it well sometimes. crowded mostly. service good.

thetastewas good, but the quantity of food is too less for the amount the restaurant is charging.

at the end of the day , it's thetastewhich matters and the food left a badtastein the mouth with a feeling that isse aacha toh poha hi lha liya hota.
we had an omelette salami sandwich and s kathi roll.
the sandwich was supposed to have a salami but it was bread omellete with a thick piece of bland chicken.
the person in charge explained that this was how salami was made in there restaurant leaving us feeling like fools
kathi roll had the thickest roomali roti in history of roomali rotis.
nothing more to be said except it was a very sad last lunch ot the year

thetasteof the patty isn't that good. the amount of sauce and mayo is awesome though.

we were invited to enjoy hie-tea today evening. we were accompanied with #feaadmin, anil mulchandani sir and #feapreferredbloggers team to explore more from their menu.

they shifted to the basement in same complex with better space and ambiance with some add ons in their menu.

fusion food is a pretty common term in cooking circuit these days. but, getting a proper fusion food, sandwichworkz works on its cooking styles and flavors. here you will find home style food i.e. less salty and spicy. in fact curries used in dishes are so fresh as well as no ready-made sauces were used. they are pretty much peculiar about the ingredients they use in their dishes, they are high grade quality ingredients like desi ghee where ghee is part of any traditional recipe dish.

the place is a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle of the city. cafe display their photographs and paintings with their lively colors on the walls. a cafe holds huge collection of books where you can spend hours reading while drinking a sip of hot cup of coffee with little munching.

ordered shakshouka and hash brown for a sunday brunch. believe me, this is a decent place to have a lazy sunday brunch with good seating and staff that's always smiling. food is served without much waiting.
now comes thetasteof the food that they serve. it was my first time with shakshouka and for someone who loves egg this will be love at first bite. along with a bowl of shakshouka, you're given two bread toasts. i feel they could have served just another toast or maybe garlic bread instead of a simple toast. had no issues with hash browns. i loved it ( shakshouka) so much that i would try making it at my home. 4.5/5 for shakshouka.

we found the restaurant browsing zomato. the place is superb small fizzy with nice windows. the food was really fantastic. i also loved the coffee . a very differenttastei came for breakfast i will come again for lunch

i tried new combination of sandwich that is chocolate & cheese sandwich.

as i expected from this sandwich. but this sandwich proves me wrong.

taste is not really yummy.

i also tried rich chocolate milkshake.

thetasteof rich chocolate milkshake was very chocolaty.

i like rich chocolate milkshake more than this chocolate & cheese sandwich.

the ambiance is nice.

service is also good.

i’ll recommend this place to everyone who is a sandwich lover even if you’re not you’ll be after having their dishes.
the place is crowded usually on dinner time not because of having smaller space but because of their popularity. they have best mouth drooling sandwiches in their menu. the staff & service is also very up to the mark according to the place. the dishes they serve is perfectly balanced in terms oftaste& the price is also satisfactory. the only problem they are not having any proper parking facility.

sandwich workz has always been our favourite sunday breakfast place.
but today sadly, the batter that was used in the pancakes and the waffles was of inferior quality.
the aftertastewas horrible.
please check the batter before you serve.

a cosy place in a busy area. perfect grilled sandwiches with very unique stuffing. serves a classic english breakfast and a authentic maple syrup with waffles with a good crisp and slight aroma of egg yolk. shakshouka was unique to intasteand must go for chicken stuff dosa.
