sandwichworkz - the fusion street cafe

this is one of the best places for non veg food in ahmedabad. especially love their biryani, which i'm told by the lady there, is fashioned after the karachi biryani. their sandwiches are very filling and to die for. anytime i'm confused about what to order or where to eat, sandwichworkz is a total no-brainer!

i visited sandwichworkz last week and i am impressed by this place, i really like the menu it has many healthy options and the food quality is really good.
i think that people who are diet conscious would really like this place cause of the healthy meal available here.

a great place for breakfast. food that's tasty and not heavy on you. it's decently priced too. the ambience is good. hope they get a bigger space soon.

sandwichworkz has been our go-to place for sunday brunch since quite a while now. the cosy ambience, the delectable food, and their well-stacked bookshelves are enough to keep one going back to the place over and over again!

our standard order at the place is big daddy's american breakfast which comes with pancakes, scrambled eggs, mashed potatoes, sausages, coffee and guava juice. the pancakes are the best i've tasted in ahmedabad, the scrambled eggs are fluffy and the mashed potatoes are creamy. the sausages were well-cooked and coffee and juice were great accompaniments to the meal. considering how the breakfast tray is enough for two, the price is also quite nominal. their pancakes are the best we've tasted in ahmedabad and we'd highly recommend them.

i have been visiting this place since start. run by an elderly couple who do not compromises on the hospitality part anytime. everytime i visit i think of choosing something new from the menu; however most of the times i end up ordering the same thing. planning to cover all soon.

what a lovely place for english breakfast! go for it if you love english breakfast in the morning. best!! it is usually packed though. i wouldn’t mind going here again and again...

we had a cheese mushroom shakshuka, and it was entirely avoidable. it wasn’t bad. it was just too ordinary, and didn’t stand out in any way.

but loved the pancakes with the syrup. keep on craving for them - soft, baked evenly to perfection, and the lovely syrup.

love the low ceiling and ambience.

i’ll recommend this place to everyone who is a sandwich lover even if you’re not you’ll be after having their dishes.
the place is crowded usually on dinner time not because of having smaller space but because of their popularity. they have best mouth drooling sandwiches in their menu. the staff & service is also very up to the mark according to the place. the dishes they serve is perfectly balanced in terms of taste & the price is also satisfactory. the only problem they are not having any proper parking facility.

i am a little sad writing this. this place was a 4 for me (have visited twice before) cause there is so much that sandwichworkz does brilliantly. but i was disappointed during my last visit.

the sandwiches are delicious. i mean they get the basics spot on. rare place around the area where you get ham. 😋😋 do give the sandwiches a try. all are pretty good.
the sausage masala is yummmm. must try! so are the ajwain parathas. this is a good option if you are feeling like indian food in an american cuisine joint.
the mocktails are good too. i have tried the blue lagoon.
they have a discount going on for iim folks.

okay here's why i was sad. we ordered the saag meat (also recommended on zomato) and it was bland. we added salt but still the dish lacked flavour, consistency and even meat. all the pieces were just bones. :(. i guess i had very high expectations.
the ambience is just about okay. the tables are too close together i feel so on a weekend you feel a little suffocated. but it's a small cafe so can't grumble.

we will still frequent the place cause we love the bacon sandwiches and chicken rolls. but i think i'll avoid the saag dishes.

had the chicken biryani and mashed potatoes. must admit, both was super delicious. best biryani i have ever had. mashed potatoes was so good and i feel bad for underestimating it before i ordered.

without a doubt one of my favorite places in ahmedabad i would recommend to everyone .it's a cozy place and a perfect hangout spot with some comfort food. the highlight is of course the quantity for the price,easy on the pocket for college students like me. i would recommend going there for an early breakfast and have one of their breakfast meals in between the morning buzz. perfect way to start the morning.

was craving for pancake found this cool place i ordered pancake with nutella i must say for it was yummy ..
it took some tym for cooking but its worth it..
need some good jazz music..

this is one of the few places which serves good breakfast during "breakfast hours" in ahmedabad! there are not many cafes which open early in here.

we ordered egg and cheese + hash brown with dips + cold coffee. we totally loved the food. i'd recommend this place to any breakfast lovers out there.

best time to get breakfast here is 9.. after that there's too much rush!

love the food here, especially indian non veg meals. i would suggest country chicken and butter chicken.
