awesome band, fun atmosphere. dropped by thisplacefor the first time on a thursday night for some late night drinks. my boyfriend and i got there in time for a few songs by the live band, i guess they stop around midnight. awesome performance with refreshing reggae/rock/jazz music. the decor was beautiful with a nice intimate arrangement in the outside patio. friendly bartender and delicious mango/peach cocktail. there were a few other couples there and one large party who totally rocked it out on the "dance floor". i would definitely return for dinner one day.

we had a great time saturday evening dancing at sambuca uptown. the band we were going to see had an emergency so they switched bands. it was not a problem, the fill in band was also a good one. the dance floor is a little small but it accommodated all. we were drinking wine and our waiter, rene, suggested some nice bottles for our group of eight. highly recommend thisplacefor a night out.

go simply for the cover band. the "restaurant" seating was right in front of the band so i had to yell to talk to my fellow diners. you think they would put the restaurant seating where the club seating is. when people got up to dance i was so close to the dance floor that people constantly bumped into me and my table. i ordered a pizza that tasted of nothing other than tomato, which is to say it had no taste at all! the only high point of the meal was the alcoholic beverages and the chicken samosas. i would never recommend thisplaceto anyone other than to drink and enjoy a cover band that was pretty damn good! save your money and go to chef pointe cafe or pappasito's for dinner and finish here for drinks and maybe dessert.

overpriced and strange mix of cheap, poorly maintained decor trying to look fancy with loud music. food would be called "good" at half that price. the ladies' room is the strangestplacei've been in. the lobby smelled of sewer gas. the staff was nice tho. as it was, we are not going back.

sambuca in uptown is awesome. a greatplacefor a fine dining experience or fun night at the bar! service was top quality ask for mason for sure!

liked old location better. the newplaceseemed to cater more now to the early/mid 20's crowd. felt like "night at the roxberry!" i liked the old downtown dallas location much, much better. was more personable and quaint.

good food, great service, live music. don't miss the prosciutto beignets!
in town for work, five of us at dinner, one ordered lobster enchiladas, one the filet mignon, and three the pork chops.... the pork chops were the hands down winners. great service. band that night was talented, but a little limited in their repertoire. glad we like zz top. this is aplacei would've been comfortable casual or in a suit.

you say you don't like aplacecause the can not split checks? who splits checks 8 ways? that can take forever-
you said nothing about the food- sambuca is amazing, fun, delicious and great service. restaurants have polices, such as life has rules- get over it- get friends that can afford to pay, and not split 8 ways... that's crazy and your gonna blame a great restaurant?

sambuca is amazing a greatplaceto dance eat great food and never feel rushed! try it!!!

watch out if you have a large party. thisplacedoes not let you split checks!!!!!!! so at a table of 8 friends they wanted us to break it up ourself and them tell them how much to put on each ard but they have a max of 3 cards per table. ridiculous and complicated!!!!!!!!

love this place. this is a favoriteplacefor afternoon drinks. all the seating is comfortable, it has a great atmosphere and the staff is always friendly, and they have a great courtyard patio. the "deconstructed sushi" appetizer is divine!
