definitely worth trying. in my opinion. hillsboro doesn't have a lot of quality restaurants. i was surprised how flavorful and satisfying the food is here.
my wife and i have been to salam several times and the food is consistently great. the restaurant is usually quiet when we dine in and theservicehas been friendly and food served within 10 min.
we are particular fans of the falafel appetizer, which is well seasoned and quite filling for an appetizer.
i highly recommend chicken zereshk. the barberry rice side is some of the best rice i've had in a long night.
if you like turkish coffee, it's fantastic here.
my only qualm is they have limited gluten free options. i asked the server about gluten free bread and he offered a plate with some veggies. although not what i had hoped for, i was pleaded he accommodated to the best of his ability.
