fresh, delicious, consistent. of all the restaurants in l.a., i have by far been to saladang the most. it is my very favorite restaurant. i am most impressed by their consistency-- each dish is just as delicious every time you visit. this kitchen never seems to have an off night. the whole restaurant runs seamlessly unlike any other place i've been to.
if you are looking for 'authentic' thai food, this is probably not the place. it's more of a california spin on thai cuisine in abeautifulindustrial-with-orchids setting, very fast and efficient service, moderate prices and a balanced portion size.
my favorite dish: saladang salad (shaved green apple with thai peanut sauce)
