based on the great reviews about sala thai, we decided to choose thisplacefor a friends get together and were glad to have made that choice! this tinyplaceis located in a quiet corner of fremont, but was packed on a sunday evening. we had to wait about 15 min before getting seated. we were a big group so got a chance to order a variety of food like tom kha soup, pad thai, drunken noodles, penang curry, pineapple fried rice and crispy fish. all the dishes tasted excellent but had a tinge of sweetness in them. the drunken noodle was the best of the lot while the pad thai was slightly disappointing. the service was fast and the prices were very modest. definitely one of the best thai restaurants i’ve ever been to!!
