food was amazing, and the service was great. will definitely recommend this place to everyone!

we had entered saigon suzy on a sunny sunday afternoon and i must say it is such a beautiful restaurant, the cute asian detail with the multiple umbrella decor. i had the pandan’s envy cocktail and it was too sweet with alot of coconut syrup in it. i honestly didn’t enjoy it. the pork belly ramen was quite delicious with interesting garnishing which makes the dish different. the service was a bit slow even though the restaurant wasn’t full at all. but the ambience made it worth it nonetheless

friendly service, quiet creative fusion meals, just the parking is a bit different, the best thing about this place is they have 3 or 4 hidden kareroke rooms upstairs, must pay a visit one day

well to begin with, it’s beautiful! what a great place for a drink - drinks are good & the waiters are also able to stay on top of everything, even when it’s busy. good music! excited to return for some of the delicious looking food and the karaoke upstairs. social media responses are super quick too!

went there with my family for a meal. on the whole we found the food to be bland, lacking the flavours we were expecting (and craving). the decor is quite nice though.

nice staff. cool decor. ordered some baos. they were tiny and lacked sauce. very dry and hard to swallow. however walking past some other tables the bowls were huge and looked appetizing.

this is one of my current favourite places in joburg. i keep coming back and inevitably have an amazing time every time. without fail.
the decor and vibe.
the karaoke.
the food.
the friendly waiters.

it ticks all the right boxes.

cape town’s mid-price restaurants could learn a lot from places like saigon suzy! one of my favourite dining experiences was sitting on their roof for dinner. the open air surrounded by oldish building was a great setting for a relaxed asian meal. the food was all very good and excellent value. the service was also good, readily available with good recommendations. if saigon suzy was in cape town, it would be my local.

the first thing you notice when you walk into saigon suzy is the quirky and fun decor. the ceiling is covered in upside down painted paper umbrellas, there are neon lights pointing the way to the karaoke rooms and there's a rather large painting of a suzy on the side of the room. 

we usually order little plates of food when we're there - i am vegetarian and there are quite a few dishes for me to choose from which is always a plus :) the food is yum and the vibe is always good.

they also have a large selection of alcoholic beverages including some imported thai beers. 

the only downside is that they do not take bookings, so it's luck of the draw for seating. 

the waitrons are super friendly and always ready with suggestions. if you're looking for a relaxed lunch or vibey supper, this is your place to be!

what a great surprise. we came here for our anniversary after spending our honeymoon in vietnam. brought all the great memories back. food was as good as in vietnam. a must try for anybody. well done. the food was amazing. the japanese beer was great and the cocktail excellent.

we went here for a close friend's birthday the other day and we were definitely not disappointed! service was excellent, food came timeously after we had ordered and was all well presented, delicious and tasty. the decor is interesting and combines a bunch of different asian aspects which create the atmosphere of a chinese garden. would also highly recommend ordering the china girl cocktail, delicious and beautifully presented, will definitely be back for more!

awesome food awesome selection on drinks and the atmosphere is amazing all keeping to the theme. they got a unusual and fun selection on drinks and sake. definitely pop by if you looking for a fun vietnamese experience.

funky joint, decorations are on point. decent menu covering a gud variety of dishes. the beef skewers was soft and tender with a great sauce. the beef pho was ok. broth was good but noddles was avg. the bun cha was smoky, tasty and just a winner all round. gud venue. will be back.

great place to be... because of the food which is excellent.... but also because of an excellent service.... thanks to zanele... a great waitress who truly loves what she does... you will figure out!!!
