easy to walk right by but a good find. it's located in the same shop as the ahi bowl & pot. ruffage has good portion sizes (not large like everywhere else) & the sunflower special sandwich i had was loaded with plenty of fresh, healthy produce - ripe avocado, sunflower seeds, grated carrot, tomato, alfalfa sprouts & mustard. it was very tasty & satisfying. along with the house special smoothie i got (banana, papaya, almond & date) i was completely full afterwards! i'd gobackagain & definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice bite to eat.

just ate their tofu and avocado sandwich which wasn't too bad and price it's okay.

they do have vegetarian dishes and seafood. i would gobackand try the other vegan items on the menu.

service is super quick too!

hubby and i come here pretty much everyday on our honeymoon. we always get a smoothie. pauli's power drink is our favourite. we haven't tried any of their food yet but we definitely will before we gobackhome.

for a red and white meat free meal hit, ruffage is a great place. they have a good selection of meals and smoothies. we had the vegetarian burrito and the pok'e on brown rice.

our first meal in waikiki was at ruffage natural foods based on a healthy sounding recommendation from the lonely planet, and it was not far from where we were staying which was a bonus after a long flight. it was on kuhio avenue one streetbackfrom the main ocean front drag. the building was fairly unassuming, and the restaurant had a few tables outside off the street and undercover, past these was the entrance to the air conditioned store and restaurant counter. there were a few more seats inside too. it took us a while inside and outside to figure out what to order, but the server wasn’t worried by this.

great little organic hole-in-the-wall. justbackfrom a week in waikiki. we went to ruffage several times on our visit for their sandwiches, vegan chilli, and smoothies. the staff is friendly and laid back. the sandwiches are a simple, with fresh ingredients. i enjoyed their smoothies as an afternoon snack after a day at the beach.

they also have a small selection of organic products from soaps and deodorants to nuts and supplements.

great smoothies and chili. we are goingbackagain today. the vegan special with the chili and avocado was the highlight for me. definitely a refreshing change from the local tourist food. my husband thought the banana strawberry smoothie was the best he ever had.
the service was pleasant and full of good vibes.

gluten free = great. searched everywhere one day whilst on honeymoon for some gluten free bread, until i found this place just as they were closing in the evening. you can buy frozen loafs, i also got a pack of choc chip cookies. a bit pricey, but needed some supplies. i intended goingbackfor lunch the next day but they closed for the whole of my stay in waikiki, disappointingly. nevertheless, i am sure they would have been great if they were open.
