set in a bungalow a little off the main road, royal repast looks dubious at first glance. once you enter the gate though, it’s a lovely, tastefully decorated haveli. the rooms have been converted into the restaurant so you mostly have only two or fewer other tables in your immediate vicinity.
service is lovely but leisurely. that’s not a bad thing, it feels less frantic than a regular restaurant but it might annoy you if you’re in a tearing hurry.
then comes the best part: the food. it. is. delicious. every single dish we ordered was fantastic. i’m personally a huge fan of the hara bhara kabab. the prices are medium-expensive, but the food is most definitely worth it.
all in all our experience at royal repast was truly wonderful. if you’re looking for a good meal served well, i highly recommend this place.
