visited royal repast which is located in udaipur. it had agreatvibe. royal repast has a very spacious dining area with an ancient aura. it gives you your own space. it is filled with antiques which adds to its elegance.

now the most awaited part, which was started with mocktails and i must say it was extremely refreshing. the one i’ll highly recommend is virgin mojito which is my all time favourite. it had mint leaves and pieces of lemon in it which gave it a tangy taste. apple of my eye had apple juice, black currant and rich cream which was agreatcombination altogether. l.l.b that’s lemonade,lime and bitters a very refreshing drink.

for starters, the non veg platter was mind blowing. it had fish amrastsari, malai tikka, murg tikka, seekh kabab and keema bruschetta. on the other hand the tandoori chicken was no less it was equally or i would say even more amazing.

for main course, laal maas had a very smoky flavour which tickled my taste buds to the limits. junglee murg was made in pure ghee with whole spices which added to its deliciousness.

for dessert, it was brownie served with vanilla ice cream. the perfect end to a fantastic mean.

on the whole the meal was delicious personified.

the place is awsome, if you are in udaipur, you have to visit this place. the food was just delicious and yummy. i think my friends n me had double our capacity. all the dishes were good. the service and ambience was good. we had agreatexperience.

a serene island in the middle of the buzzing city. the blue and white decor in the open dining space give the place santorini vines. the food and cocktail menus hadgreatoptions and the prices were supremely affordable. the waiting staff was extremely kind and prompt. it stays closed between 3:30 and 6:30, so please plan accordingly. definitely a must visit when in udaipur.

the traditional food isgreathere. we ordered govind gutta curry ( traditional rajasthani cuisine) and cauliflower curry in “bedla sauce” and both were really amazing.
laccha paratha is good.

ambience 5/5 :
they have converted a traditional house into this amazing restaurant. one of the best ambience i have been to in udaipur.
they even have a big 1919 year map hanging on one wall. really mesmerising.
also very fine rajasthani music hits fantastically on a different level.

service and staff 4/5 :
the service and staff are very polite.

would recommend this place and is a must visit if you want a traditional fine dine experience.

right from the entrance to taking the seats, from ordering to enjoy the delicacies, this place feels worth every penny you pay. staff goes an extra step to ensure you have the best experience. food serving size is decent and taste is good. you can hope for agreatmemorable experience coupled with amazing hospitality.

'royal repast' the name aptly defines this place! i visited this place few days back with a bunch of friends, we had agreatexperience. their service is excellent and the menu is not at all usual, i would suggest all the food lovers out there to try this restaurant for a completely different experience. khargosh ke kebab and raan were fabulous even the daal was was superb.

truly awesome food andgreatservice, we went there last month while we were in udaipur and on a friend's suggestion decided to have a meal at this lovely restaurant. the thing i found interesting on the first impression was the variety on the menu which itself was quite unique, we decided to have quails and rabbit which i dont think is offered by any other restaurant in udaipur. both dishes turned out awesome. when in udaipur one must go to this place.

excellent place, with a definite royal feel while also having a home-like vibe because of restaurant being spread over separate rooms; tastefully done decor andgreatservice. easily the best food we had in udaipur at a reasonable price.
