route 62 barbecue

bestbbqi have had in ohio. i love the pulled pork, the variety of sauces, and the baked beans with several different types of beans. worth the drive!

bestbbqin central ohio. the place doesn't seem like much but it sure smells great!! there is not one bad item on the menu. all the meat is smoked out back and the smell lures you in. the sides are homemade along with their sauces. you cannot beat thisbbqand it is worth the drive.

the meats at route 62bbqare generally succulent and nicely smoked. my wife loves the pulled pork, while i dream about the smoked turkey. there are a variety of sauces ranging from sweet to spicy worth checking out as well.

wow, i really want to lie... ...and say that nobody should go here. i want to keep this one all to myself. since stagecoachbbqin ashville burned down a few years ago, i have been resigned to the fact that the only goodbbqi can get in central ohio (or anywhere near it) would have to come from my own smoker.
thankfully, a co-worker revealed the secret of route 62bbqto me. i was skeptical having been burned by many badbbqrecommendations. for example, "you should try xxxxxxx bbq, they are awesome, almost as good as hoggy's." that sound you heard, was my taste buds committing suicide. quick, someone get them some route 62!
there is literally nothing on their menu that is not incredible. i hate cooked greens with a violent wretch-inducing passion...except for here. i was convinced chicken wings should never be smoked, they end up with dried out meat and rubbery skin, but no smoke flavor...except for here. how good can $10 ribs possibly be...incredible here. anyone can make a decent pecan pie...until i had it here, now everybody else sucks.

i could go on and on, but instead i'll just go get some route 62bbqbefore my taste buds stage a coup. you should stay away.

great food, great value. you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. turkey and the beef are the best. with great variety of sides and daily specials make thisbbqjoint hard to pass up!

this place is phenomenal. when i ordered the brisket sandwich, i assumed i would get a bun with some brisket on it. wrong. i got a half pound container of brisket, with the bun on the side--easily enough for two sandwiches. it was smoked perfectly, something i had never experienced in ohio. i'll drive out of my way to getbbqhere on a regular basis.

i drove by route 62bbqseveral times in the summer and fall. on my last driveby, i caught sight of the huge smoker in the back and a scent ofbbqin the air. these were good signs. as a kansas citybbqsociety certifiedbbqjudge, it is my obligation to

fantabulous. i have eaten a lot ofbbqin my lifetime but 62bbqhas become my favorite stop.we love everything they have to offer. everything is prepared by people that care.

the bestbbqin johnstown!. if you have not tried rt 62 in bbq, i would highly suggest it! we eat there 2-4 times per week! the turkey is fabulous..the ribs are awesome..beef brisket, pulled pork, wow..just so much to choose from. and the sides are just as equally good. everything is made fresh, and they have the process down to a science.

" bestbbqin town". guaranteed construction is a huge fan of route 62 bbq. we have been going to route 62 for over a year now. the company and i are so pleased with not only the food, but the service. the crew and i try to make a daily thing no matter what part of town we are working in to come and get some delicious pulled pork or my favorite shorty's peanut butter pie. thank you 62!

bestbbqaround!!. i live in dublin and travel about 45 minutes round trip to get rt 62bbqat least twice a month. in doing so i pass at least 20 other so called bbq's on the way. i am a hugebbqfan as i am originally from the south and after having been exposed to rt 62 no otherbbqin columbus cuts it. the brisket is always tender and juicy and the sides from the cheesy potatoes to the brocolli salad are always amazing. the staff is always friendly and accomodating and the amount of food you get for your dollar is unreal, i feel like i should always pay them about $3 more than i do because after a meal there i'm full for the next 2 days! amazing stuff, hopefully they'll open up a location in dublin or if not maybe i'll just have to move to johnstown!!!! can't beat it, if you are a fan ofbbqyou owe it to yourself to make the trip out to johnstown for some of the best grub you'll ever have!
