best ribs...best bbq ever for that matter. they also have the coldest beer south of the arctic circle.

best ribs in town. also great sweet potato fries. one of the best burgers in town. but best of all is the coldest beer around.

ok bbq. is an ok bbq place i always get brisket when i do bbq and found that it was kinda dry the one time i have been. so wasnt overly impressed. coulda just been an off day though.

roscoe's catered a wedding for us.  the service was terrific, there was plenty of food for everyone, and we received only compliments on the all-you-could eat format.  loved it

it was our first time at roscoe's and we really enjoyed it. the servers offered samples to help us make up our minds. i had the two meat plate with sliced brisket and sausage, my wife had pulled pork and our son had rib plate. cole slaw was good, as were the barbecue pinto beans. we will visit again.

i returned today to roscoe's smokehouse because i had heard that there had been some big changes in the restaurant.  i'm glad i did!
i arrived in the middle of lunch and it was quite busy. i barely walked in and all the workers welcomed me to roscoe's and explicitly went over the specials for the day. they gave me a moment to decide, and i ordered a two-meat plate. he asked if i wanted sliced or chopped and i answered, "sliced." i ordered the jalapeno and cheese sausage for the second meat. i was then offered sides. (the last time i was here i was neglected at that point. not this time!) instead of fries this time, i had the macaroni and cheese and cole slaw. i got a large soda too. everyone was so helpful and very cheerful, not just to me, but to everyone that was in line after me. i really like it that they emphasized the specials. i don't know if they still have the "all you can eat wednesday special" but the cards were removed from the table, so that alleviated that confusion.

now, to the food. the brisket was great! there was a nice charred crust on the slices that was absent the last time i was here, and the meat itself had a robust smokey flavor compared to the last time. the sauce was thicker and more piquant, less vinegary than the last time too. outstanding! the sausage was pretty good. i have not had the jalapeno and cheese version before, so that was novel. i tend to like sausage that has a thicker casing though. the mac & cheese was thoroughly good with a rich, cheesy sauce. i plowed through that like nobody's business. the cole slaw was good too.

i asked to speak to mr. pearce to let him know that i really appreciated the positive changes to roscoe's smokehouse. from the positive attitudes of his workers, to the emphasis of the daily specials and marvelous culinary changes, they have done wonders to this place. unfortunately, i missed him. perhaps next time when i return.

if you were unhappy with roscoe's in the past, please give them another try. i think you will enjoy the new attitude and great barbecue they deliver.

sweet !!!!!. they do a nice job here. i have been here now about 6 times and its been good all 6 times. there ribs are very good. the brisket is always lean and not a lot of fat. tater salad is good. good cold beers. what else could you ask of a place ?

ps the sliced brisket po-boy is my favorite.

they do a very nice job here. friendly service, good food, cold beer. that says it all.

best ribs and great wings. love this place! we found this on a saturday afternoon and just think it is the best fall off the bone flavorful ribs i have ever had. plus they also do wings and they have such a spicy honey sweet all in one flavor that put some of the wing places to shame. how smart to keep the cold glasses coming no matter how busy they get they always absolutely have the coldest beer around. set in the bar area and get served or you can go through the line yourself. for me i like service and they have great friendly staff. so great food, great service cheap cold beer, what's not to love!!!!

ok .... not great ....cold beer!. the chicken, chopped brisket and ribs are good. the beer is cold and the prices are good.....the sliced brisket is dry and disappointing. we heard several comments about the dry brisket on a recent friday night. the employee slicing the brisket was pulling it from a warmer unwrapped therefore it was drying out since it was unwrapped....what a shame! otherwise the food is average.

forgettable. there's really nothing "wrong" with roscoe's that i know of. it's just forgettable. i literally forget it's even there. there are much better bbq places to choose from right down the road- dickies, cousin's... just to name a couple.

visited there a couple of weeks ago. i really enjoyed the sweet potato fries and loaded baked potato!

ordered the rib plate; ribs too dry & stringy. made me wonder when they were cooked. sauce was not impressive at all; only a hint of flavor & not very thick.

absolutely fabulous flavorful bbq with excellent customer service! and i love that it's locally owned and operated. defintely worth the stop!

ate at roscoe's on the way back to dfw after spending the day at dinosauer valley state park. great food all around!!!
