fresh and delicious!. i took my friend for lunch on monday and couldn't decide whether i should get the salad with figs, apples and chicken or the mediterranean wrap. i settled for the salad. my friend ordered the crab quiche(which was the special) with a side of the same salad. both of our lunches were absolutely amazing! all the saladingredientswere fresh and the taste of a the cucumbers were, well...cucumbers!! they were delicious and didn't taste like the cucumbers you get at the giant. i loved the homemade salad dressing too. the atmosphere was cozy and the owner, who happened to be our server, was charming and hospitable.

i finally got the mediterranean wrap a few days later and i thoroughly enjoyed that was well. win win!! i should mention that the coffee is delicisoso!!

best food in town!. i love this place! the turkey rachel and the cubano are my favorite sandwiches but i had one of the sandwiches on special last time i was there and it was out of this world. the soups are probably my favorite part item on the menu though...every one i try there is better than the next.

roots has a great atmosphere and staff is very friendly. its always nice to see a place like roots serving great food while using all localingredientsand supporting the community. i'll definitely be back for a breakfast burrito next time i'm in the area...

i've lived and work in west chester for more then 10 years now and i can say roots cafe is a great new addition. in a town over run with bars eating out can lack creativity, at roots cafe not only is the menu imaginative but all theingredientsare really fresh. in my opinion this place has it all, great food and the right price, friendly staff and a good atmosphere.

great vegetarian options. it is really hard to find places with vegetarian options outside of salads or vegetable substitutes. roots cafe offers many options for vegetarians. my favorites are the buffalo cheese fake and tofu rachel, even meat eaters enjoy it. theingredientsare always fresh, colorful and delicious! my favorite sunday morning spot!

michelle, i am sorry to hear your salad was so poorly made. we have recently taken the greek salad off the menu in order to make room for salads that we can make with more localingredientsinsuring freshness and quality. we are confident that ouringredientsand portion sizes and prices are very reasonable especially when compared to other restaurants in the area such as landmark or salad works. we apologize that your salad was not made properly and if you come in we will gladly make your next meal on us. we strive to serve our town with healthy wholesomeingredientsan leave with only happy customers.
