good food. green chili is awesome but the nachos are weak. small broken tortilla chips. hardly worth $13. the cream of jalapeño soup is to die for- a must try. home made root beer isgoodtoo.

located close to the castle rock outlets and just off the freeway, we find ourselves eating here vs the food court whenever we go shopping or pass through
castle rock. with their excellent food, great service and decent prices, rockyard is a great way to top off agoodday of shopping! rockyard has also been here longer than most of the other chain restaurants that have appeared more recently, so my habit is set. plus, they have a great selection of beer and we love their pizzas!

i came here with some friends on a monday afternoon and had the 12oz ny strip with mashed potatoes. everything i had tasted great and none of my friends had any complaints. the wait staff was very patient and friendly. overall, i would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoysgoodfood and agoodtime.

drop by whenever we are in the area. don't drink so the beer isn't the draw. however the cream of jalapeño soup is wonderful.

the soup is rich and creamy with the delightful flavor of nice fresh jalapeños. you would think that it would be spicy hot but it isn't. the fresh jalapeños contribute their crispy bite without the heat.

if you insist on heat, there is a green chili which is spicier - but still less so than many in new mexico.

they have a bunch of more common fare such as burgers, sandwiches, and salads which we get to go along with the soup.

a reallygoodmeal is their soup and salad combo. just don't order the small soup - you will regret it when you run low. heck, you will probably regret that they don't offer a 55 gallon drum size when the big bowl eventually runs out.

with all the negative reviews, we had reservations about coming here but were pleasantly surprised. our meals were timely and delicious, the staff was attentive, the beer wasgoodand so was the cream soda, and our bill was less than eating at crappy red robin. we will definitely be back and will tell our friends about the place. thanks!

after reading reviews we were hesitant to go but tried it. i have to say everything was great, we had the artichoke dip cajun burger and the fajita, and all three were great. the beer was reallygoodtoo. i would recommend it.

great place, even better location. went on vacation to colorado and stayed in castle rock. our hotel was a block away from this place so it was a no brainer to eat here. this kinda reminded me of a place back home called "the yardhouse" if you are traveling from denver to colorado springs, stop in castle rock and go to the rockyard for somegoodfood and homemade beer. my beer of choice was the red hawk amber ale.

rockyard the atmosphere here was nice. it's a bit loud, but it is a brewery. i ordered the chicken enchilada soup and the cajun chicken pasta. the soup was spicier than i expected, but very good. the cajun pasta was really nicely seasoned and tasted great. the portion was probably enough for two, but it was sogoodi ate the whole thing. the cajun spice was not too spicy so, i enjoyed it more than the soup. my co-worker ordered the grilled pork chops with creole seasoning. while he could not really taste the creole seasoning, he thought the pork chops were good. the dish was served with a gigantic pile of crispy fries that weregoodbut too much, considering the portion of pork chops that were served. overall t gives it three yum yum's out of five.
