jalapeño soup and green chili are awsome! try the enchilada - it's covered in the jalapeño soup- very good!! salsa and chips were delicious, i wasn't a fan of the house made root beer

two visits, not that much that stands out.. i really like this place, but i can't find a meal that really stands out. the best i had was a prime rib sandwich. my wife enjoyed the double eagle beer, but i found it too skunky. i liked my stout beer though.

the restaurant is nicely decorated and very appealing and has reasonable prices, but unless you are nearby, there are better breweries to find first.

good food. green chili is awesome but the nachos are weak. small broken tortilla chips. hardly worth $13. the cream of jalapeño soup is to die for- a must try. home made root beer is good too.

food is just good, not excellent. waiter makes us wait a very long time. both, our hostess and waiter, do not give us any eyes contact. as a deaf person, it's quite frustrating. we wouldn't come back.

located close to the castle rock outlets and just off the freeway, we find ourselves eating here vs the food court whenever we go shopping or pass through
castle rock. with their excellent food, great service and decent prices, rockyard is a great way to top off a good day of shopping! rockyard has also been here longer than most of the other chain restaurants that have appeared more recently, so my habit is set. plus, they have a great selection of beer and we love their pizzas!

not bad but not great. pub food. had the andouille sausage hamburger. wouldn't get it again. onion rings didn't seem cooked through. pickle was fine.

i came here with some friends on a monday afternoon and had the 12oz ny strip with mashed potatoes. everything i had tasted great and none of my friends had any complaints. the wait staff was very patient and friendly. overall, i would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food and a good time.

drop by whenever we are in the area. don't drink so the beer isn't the draw. however the cream of jalapeño soup is wonderful.

the soup is rich and creamy with the delightful flavor of nice fresh jalapeños. you would think that it would be spicy hot but it isn't. the fresh jalapeños contribute their crispy bite without the heat.

if you insist on heat, there is a green chili which is spicier - but still less so than many in new mexico.

they have a bunch of more common fare such as burgers, sandwiches, and salads which we get to go along with the soup.

a really good meal is their soup and salad combo. just don't order the small soup - you will regret it when you run low. heck, you will probably regret that they don't offer a 55 gallon drum size when the big bowl eventually runs out.

with all the negative reviews, we had reservations about coming here but were pleasantly surprised. our meals were timely and delicious, the staff was attentive, the beer was good and so was the cream soda, and our bill was less than eating at crappy red robin. we will definitely be back and will tell our friends about the place. thanks!

food for the dog. if not for a wonderful waitstaff i would have walked out without paying bill. visiting for sport tournament and quiet possibly the worst food i have encountered since the nuns punished me in elementary school.... and the bill 100 bucks. the kids would have rather ate a school lunch.. lol and enough said. avoid this place, i recommend any competition to come in, hire away wait staff and this place will be out of business in no time.

loved the lettuce wrap as an appetizer! and i loved the colorado wrap thingy. the only thing i did not enjoy was the service. the waitness was good, very timely and didn't forget anything but no one smiled!!! when i say no one...i mean no one! it was as if they all hated their life's! :-/ it was kinda sad!

order mushroom caps for app. raw mushrooms with warmed stuffing. lousy presentation and not too tasty. had their ipa and was pleased. the marble rye bread is unable to make it to the table before getting soggy. funny the waiter never asked us how the food was...
