the place has a great ambiance and the perfect location for a great evening, but came short on quiet a few instances, for one, the service is a totally lost cause, therestaurantis pathetically staffed as half the time the attendants have no clue what they are doing, they should genuinely hire more people because on number of occassions there were no attendants in their outdoor seating area and mind you, ask for your bill well in advance, i believe there is a waiting period for that too and all this when only half the tables were occupied on that evening.

the food is above average at best, nothing that you'd particularly recommend, something that you'd not expect for a franchise like this in goa. another cheap one they pulled off was the recycling of the ice-cream containers which they have used to serve the sides along with the chicken biryani, the gesture is eco-friendly and all for those nature lovers, but you don't expect a place like this lowering it's standards particularly in this manner, this was disappointing frankly speaking and to add to that fish; for which thisrestaurantis famous for wasn't available and a few more of the ever so limited menu items were also unavailable, surprising!

a luxurious hotel in the middle of panjim gymkhana, ritz classic was fabulous in every aspect of it. the service was on point, ambiance was best located in gymkhana it had sports drawing all around the wall and a bar station in middle of therestaurantand the food was just mind-blowing. therestaurantshares a premium fine-dine way of service, the tables and chairs were comfortable too. therestaurantis quiet at all times, family dinings are best at the place.

we ordered chicken cafreal which is also known as their one of the speciality and sure it was. chicken cafreal comes from a goan delicacy where chicken is prepared in a green gravy of mint and coriander leaves. the spices were perfect, the balance of spiciness to the sourness of the dish was well balanced and the fresh minty flavor of the mint leaves was outbursting the flavors. the gravy was dry. i cannot totally say a gravy - it was all coating the chicken pieces, but then too was awesome. it came with a side of french fries, some cucumber slices and tomato slices. the french fries complimented the dish very well. we ordered butter naan with it. i can say it was one of the best butter naan i've ever had. it was too soft, not at all chewy and had a proper smoky flavor from the tandoor as it should have been.

to finish off we ordered chicken dum biryani which came along with raita. the birista on top of the biryani brought up the flavor pretty well. the long grain rice used in preparing the biryani was also astonishingly flavorful and delicious. biryani had a leg pieces and two pieces of chicken which were very much tender and succulent and was well marinated, the flavors were tasted all along the meat and the gravy was well spiced and perfectly balanced according to the biryani’s taste. even the raita was amazing, it was thick, had a decent quantity of vegetables in it and flavorful.

the experience the hotel delivers is just breathtaking, every element the hotel shares is on point. little little details were taken care of, the style of chair, the quality of table cloth, those every small detail made the experience very much luxurious. had a wonderful time spent and an unbelievable food experience at this place in goa.
must visit if in goa by @thefoodglutton.

watermelon juice (no water or ice added)
solekadi (one of the best, if not the best i've had. fyi it's super spicy, but unputdownable)
caramel custard - simply sensational!

p.s - unlike their other branches, thisrestaurantdoesn't serve their signature sea food thali.

the hygiene in the place is bad
every cloth seat is badly badly stained and they don’t even have chair cloths which can be removed washed

with the number of chains ritz has , there should be all effort to upgrade and upkeep the chairs and place.
the tents if you look at them are equally dirty.

the place proudly claims goan food and experience and family place, but lamely plays loud music with cheap mass numbers like munni badnam hui

the food is okay, but the experience of sitting in a place like this takes off everything from your dining experience

you were a star of goan culture and experience but you don’t respect the guests who come and sit at yourrestaurantby having such dirty unhygienic seats.

we were put up at candolim dec 19 , we were looking out for the best goan food and post all the hype and high ratings we rounded off ritz classic as one off the places to lunch at. the long waiting que to have a meal. post waiting for 35 mins, on inquiring we have young kids, we were told that this is our problem !!we finally got a place to sit in therestaurantand we ordered the fish thali .., the thali seemed starved as most items of the thali were missing , substituted with some sub standard mix fish curry that had all bones. the bowl of prawn curry had only one single prawn. another bowl had some small sardine like thorny fish. on asking the steward on the quality of food we were told crab and some other fish were over and not available ! on getting this to the attention of the manager ( cashier) he completely ignored us . on asking him he said we will offer a discount as the quality was not as per the hype. ritz folks it’s not only the price and discounts that matter on a good holiday. we get to goa to have a good time ,and eat some good food of the local cuisine. serving sub standard food with less or little quality does not serve the purpose to travel miles to ritz classic.truly sad on this experience !! request someone at therestauranttake heed on the subject !! customer experience is of upmost importance !! it’s the service , good quality that matters most on a vacation ☹️

really upset with today’s order that had been placed, there were two chicken tikka masala ordered , one chicken tikka tasted really good but the other one was terrible it gave an after taste and also the smell was not pleasing.

as when we called the steward and told him about it, he then confronted to some ‘captain’ and there on the captain came to our table,we told him about the dish and he said that he asked the chef whether the salt and other ingredients were put properly ,the chef agreed to it and also because both the dishes were cooked together he said there was no problem

we were 14 of us and 5 of us tasted this dish(including the ones who had the other chicken tikka masala) and we found it terrible the captain was not ready to accept the fact that it was not good and we told him to taste it himself which he was not ready to do so and he kept defending himself saying it was good , i mean whichrestaurantdoes this .this is really sad to see such arestauranthaving such poor quality service.

very nicerestaurantwith great ambience. sitting is available both inside and outside ( next to swimming pool).
food was good. tried crispy veg and my friends tried prawns. both were good in taste.

this is i suppose the third outlet of ritz and equally satisfying to tastebuds as the other two. amazing ambience with the indoorrestaurantas well the outside poolside sitting area. this place is rightly famous for seafood. a must try in panjim city.

prawns were not cooked properly. this is newrestaurantin gymkhana. food was ok ok. like other ritz joints thali system will be a big hit. ambiance was awesomeeee.....

it's just so disappointing to give thisrestaurantsuch less rating. i came to goa the first time in my life and the firstrestauranti visited to taste some delicious seafood was this one. i ordered the following dishes:

kingfish masala
hakka noodles
gobi manchurian

to my disappointment not even a single dish was good ! fish masala was a little sweet which just spoiled the taste completely ! i don't really know how the goan food actually tastes, if it's meant to be sweet atleast the staff could warn the guests about it so that they can make their choices accordingly. i even asked what is their speciality but there was just no help !
but what can be the excuse for sweet hakka noodles ? i thought it could be my savior for the night ! but ahh! so disappointing again !
gobi manchurian was horrible as well. it's pretty sad to right such a review for a fancy place like that but therestaurantreally needs to upgrade its food taste ! 2 ratings is only for ambience and polite staff (polite, not helpful).

3 star for the location as it has ample amount of space for parking + there is indoor seating + outdoor seating near swimming pool + lawn seating with a view of the sea + music playing .
my parents wanted to visit this particularrestaurantas previously we had been visiting the one in panjim or mall de goa .
we were here for lunch but to our surprise there wasn’t a thali system here like other ritz , here only a la carte!!!
the waiter wasn’t friendly, he brought our food late , parents ordered some fish curry and rice .

it is located at a beautiful location in campal gymkhana. the ambience boast's about the sporty look of the place with the theme of therestaurantbeing somewhere around sports. you can also dine around the swimming pool area. the goan cuisine is something you should try over here but it's on the expensive side. the indian and the chinese food is palatable and won't disappoint you. rates over here could have been a little lower. overall a good place with classy ambience and prompt service.

could you resist something like this ? it’s one beautiful piece of art , cuz when i see this plate i just want to start eating this , goa is famous for its fish thali and ritz makes the most delicious fish thali , it’s one of the most selling and best dish of thisrestaurantand definitely a must try!
