excellentplaceto visit in evening time on bank of mandovi river.a hugeplacewith clean environment around.food served was excellent the goan probably will look out for thier favourite plate! the platter of squids, king fish rava fried, prawn curry and not forgetting bombay ducks rava fried, simply amazing especially chef swapnil sawant made a amazing salad for us,it was mouth licking, special thanks to him staff members are polite.greatplaceto dine.

theplacehas a great ambiance and the perfect location for a great evening, but came short on quiet a few instances, for one, the service is a totally lost cause, the restaurant is pathetically staffed as half the time the attendants have no clue what they are doing, they should genuinely hire more people because on number of occassions there were no attendants in their outdoor seating area and mind you, ask for your bill well in advance, i believe there is a waiting period for that too and all this when only half the tables were occupied on that evening.

the food is above average at best, nothing that you'd particularly recommend, something that you'd not expect for a franchise like this in goa. another cheap one they pulled off was the recycling of the ice-cream containers which they have used to serve the sides along with the chicken biryani, the gesture is eco-friendly and all for those nature lovers, but you don't expect aplacelike this lowering it's standards particularly in this manner, this was disappointing frankly speaking and to add to that fish; for which this restaurant is famous for wasn't available and a few more of the ever so limited menu items were also unavailable, surprising!

chaotic seating arrangement system. there were staff that looked into the over crowding staff and we had to wait for more than half hour inside the hotel. food is okay. you can visit thisplaceonce as it’s a signature joint in panaji

this is one my favourite places for goan food. whenever i visit goa i make sure that i have at least one meal at this place.
the goan fish thali is outstanding. however it is only available for lunch time. it ranges from goan curry, kishmur, crab curry, mussels solkadi and many more inclusions. it's sumptuous and very cheap for that kind of amazing quality goan food.
i have tried quite a lot of preparations like balchao, recheado, crab curry, rawa fry prawns/fish, goan curry, ambotik, all have been great to taste. my personal favourites is goan king fish curry and prawns rawa fry.
this is a must visitplaceand highly recommended.
it is however very very crowded and has a long waiting time on weekends.

a luxurious hotel in the middle of panjim gymkhana, ritz classic was fabulous in every aspect of it. the service was on point, ambiance was best located in gymkhana it had sports drawing all around the wall and a bar station in middle of the restaurant and the food was just mind-blowing. the restaurant shares a premium fine-dine way of service, the tables and chairs were comfortable too. the restaurant is quiet at all times, family dinings are best at the place.

we ordered chicken cafreal which is also known as their one of the speciality and sure it was. chicken cafreal comes from a goan delicacy where chicken is prepared in a green gravy of mint and coriander leaves. the spices were perfect, the balance of spiciness to the sourness of the dish was well balanced and the fresh minty flavor of the mint leaves was outbursting the flavors. the gravy was dry. i cannot totally say a gravy - it was all coating the chicken pieces, but then too was awesome. it came with a side of french fries, some cucumber slices and tomato slices. the french fries complimented the dish very well. we ordered butter naan with it. i can say it was one of the best butter naan i've ever had. it was too soft, not at all chewy and had a proper smoky flavor from the tandoor as it should have been.

to finish off we ordered chicken dum biryani which came along with raita. the birista on top of the biryani brought up the flavor pretty well. the long grain rice used in preparing the biryani was also astonishingly flavorful and delicious. biryani had a leg pieces and two pieces of chicken which were very much tender and succulent and was well marinated, the flavors were tasted all along the meat and the gravy was well spiced and perfectly balanced according to the biryani’s taste. even the raita was amazing, it was thick, had a decent quantity of vegetables in it and flavorful.

the experience the hotel delivers is just breathtaking, every element the hotel shares is on point. little little details were taken care of, the style of chair, the quality of table cloth, those every small detail made the experience very much luxurious. had a wonderful time spent and an unbelievable food experience at thisplacein goa.

ritz have been my go toplacefor yummy seafood. have been to other outlets of ritz but this was my first time at gymkhana. their parking space was too good. visited thisplacewith friends for lunch. though it serves one of the best authentic goan fish thali, we opted for more starters and biryani this time. we ordered chicken crispy, squids batter fry and some more for starters and chicken biryani for main course. their food was awesome. i personally loved the quantity for pocket friendly prices. they also have 25% discount for gymkhana members. on should definitely visit this outlet of ritz at gymkhana.

the fish thali here is a must-try!!! it is filling, with different varieties of fish, which gives you a taste of goa's authenticity!!!! a goodplaceto visit with family and friends!!!

p.s - unlike their other branches, this restaurant doesn't serve their signature sea food thali.

i had heard about thisplacefor long, however thisplaceturned out to be just hype and no substance. there are better places with cheaper menu in goa.

the hygiene in theplaceis bad
every cloth seat is badly badly stained and they don’t even have chair cloths which can be removed washed

with the number of chains ritz has , there should be all effort to upgrade and upkeep the chairs and place.
the tents if you look at them are equally dirty.

theplaceproudly claims goan food and experience and family place, but lamely plays loud music with cheap mass numbers like munni badnam hui

the food is okay, but the experience of sitting in aplacelike this takes off everything from your dining experience

you were a star of goan culture and experience but you don’t respect the guests who come and sit at your restaurant by having such dirty unhygienic seats.

we were put up at candolim dec 19 , we were looking out for the best goan food and post all the hype and high ratings we rounded off ritz classic as one off the places to lunch at. the long waiting que to have a meal. post waiting for 35 mins, on inquiring we have young kids, we were told that this is our problem !!we finally got aplaceto sit in the restaurant and we ordered the fish thali .., the thali seemed starved as most items of the thali were missing , substituted with some sub standard mix fish curry that had all bones. the bowl of prawn curry had only one single prawn. another bowl had some small sardine like thorny fish. on asking the steward on the quality of food we were told crab and some other fish were over and not available ! on getting this to the attention of the manager ( cashier) he completely ignored us . on asking him he said we will offer a discount as the quality was not as per the hype. ritz folks it’s not only the price and discounts that matter on a good holiday. we get to goa to have a good time ,and eat some good food of the local cuisine. serving sub standard food with less or little quality does not serve the purpose to travel miles to ritz classic.truly sad on this experience !! request someone at the restaurant take heed on the subject !! customer experience is of upmost importance !! it’s the service , good quality that matters most on a vacation ☹️

goans are mostly known for their hospitality but ritz classic has ruined my evening in the goa. i have added details of the bill because management should take proper action on the waiter.
1) tourists are not repeatative customer that doesn't mean you can give poor service to them. the staff behavior was very rude.
2) we asked for some onions, lemons, extra crab cutter he rudely denied to give it. that was very insulting. he could have told it politely.
3) the waiter was behaving like we are eating food free of cost
4)the waiter had frustrated behavior with us with no reason
5) he asked for the tip, we denied the tip due to qualify service offered. but he commented on like we were sitting for 2 hrs and not giving tip. common, we paid 2k for the food.

i visited thisplacewith the recommendation from the friend but i would never recommend this to any friend.

beautiful setting on banks of reiver mandovi and great goan food. ritz gymkhana is so much different from the other ritz outlets. they do serve the same food but the seating and ambiance are top notch, and also you dont get the ritz thali here. the outdoor seating is the best, and idealplaceto goa out with large groups as well. my fav are batter fried squids, prawn curry, and any fresh fish rawa or masala fried. all this and some chilled beers. members of the gymkhana get a discount at this outlet.

the best seafoodplacein the town ! no words to express, the dishes were so tasty! had authentic fish thali which had 3 different fishes / scallops / tiny shrimps !
& tried butter / garlic oyester it’s was yummy
highlight all comes it at such a moderate price, really surprised. ! a must go !
