rincon cubano, country club blvd., cape coral, fl. here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
the food. they have a daily special. so that's what i order. a shredded beef in a sauce, black beans, rice, and a tamale. if i am not familiar with a cuisine i go with a daily special or a server recommendation.
i have come to the conclusioncubanfood is mild to flavorless. perfect for floridians. since i always must add hot sauce. it tasted fine just shredded beef in a tomato base. beans and rice just cooked in water. tamale was different just ok. espresso coffee was strong and sweet. service was good, a lot of take out going on.
if you are inclined for this fare go for it.

the real deal. lived in miami. lived in key west. this is the real deal forcubanon the cape!. cozy, super clean, affordable and friendly and oh so tasty!

awesome!!!! don't judge the book by it's cover on this one excellent authenticcubanfood very fiendly everyone knows everyone atmosphere. regulars even have their own seats.....gr8 place

absolutely the bestcubanfood that i've ever eaten ! i had the steak last night and the wife had the pork, delicious and well priced for the size of the servings ! thinking of going back tonight :)

cuban cooking just like home. went there on 4/11 for the first time and had the roast pork. it was one of the best rost porks i've ever had. it was succulent, not dry at all and they served it with a couple of "chicharones" on top. it was out of this world. also the fried plantains were delicious and the mamey shakes were great!

also orderedcubansandwitches for take out. they were good, although could have used a little more pork meat.

the prices were unvelivavable. $3.95 forcubansandwitch. a meal for two came to about $30.

the restaurant looks like a hole in the wall but it's a real winner!

ironic waterfront view, good cuban. although a bit far from my house, i've found myself at ricon a few times. rincon offers good typicalycubanfair at good pricepoints with friendly service.. my personal favourite component is staring at the canal which runs parallel and below the restaurant.
