ouch, mi dinero!. dropped by rigoburtos this morning for some breakfast with my sister. glancing at the menu board i immediately noticed that there has been a $.25-$.75 price hike on each menu item; pushing the limits of the value/price ratio in my personal opinion. we ordered up a carne asada french fry and a chicken nacho. each item was around $8 bucks which is getting a little hefty for “cheap”mexicanplaces. the food was good as always but the prices are starting to scare me a little.

can i get a to go box?. i spent a little bit of time in arizona a few summers back and while i was down there i fell in love with themexicanfood found in the local taco trucks. rigoburtos is the closest thing i have found to those four-wheeled palaces of south of the border goodness. i find rigoburtos is the closest thing in this town to authentic everydaymexicanfood. none of the flashy festival type dishes you will find in pricy sit down places here. the carne asada tacos, beef tongue tacos, fish tacos, and wide variety of "giant" burritos are fantastic. on the un-authentic side of the menu, the carne asada french fries will have you asking for a take home box. one thing i love is the little condiment bar packed out with salsa, radishes, pickled carrots, green onions, cilantro, lime wedges, and several other little additives that are sure to make your great meal even better. the drive through is open 24/7 which makes it one of albanys few places to get food at 2, 3, or 4 in the morning if you are so inclined.
