rica's is locatedinsideof the henry hotel. actually we found this little gem by accident when we were looking for a good restaurant around the area. one of the staff of spa at cebu told us, that there's a good restaurantinsidethe hotel.
the hotel looked unconventional or should i say spookyinsideand outside. on the other hand rica's has a quirky restaurant layout and gloomy. however in spite of its quirkiness they served a good tasting dishes, which we both loved.
they served complimentary focacia bread with salsa dip, which is good complimentary starter. :-) hubby ordered salmon with pasta drizzled with pesto sauce (can't remember the exact name, sorry!). i had a tapsilog (cured angus beef, fried rice and sunny-side-up egg) . honestly, we never thought their food would taste that good. we were surprised when we had our first bite... seriously delicious! my tapa was well marinated and loaded with flavors. i must say, it was one of the best tapa i've tasted. my husband's salmon was perfectly cooked and well seasoned.
we left the place with a clean plate and happy. the price was fairly reasonable. definitely we will visit rica's again.
