used to love this place. enjoyed the vibe and the eclectic menu.foodwas good, waitstaff although apparently indifferent, were effective. had breakfast there today. heard the counter staff making fun of a customer who'd just left. swapped sliced tomato for baguette with my meal. they charged me $2.25! it wasn't a bushel of tomatoes. and $2.25 for a cup of coffee? this is memorial drive, for goodness sake, not buckhead. almost $18 (with tip) for breakfast for one, at the counter at a "dive" place?foodand coffee were indeed tasty but seems they're experiencing a bit of an identity crisis!!!! heard the waitress complaining they weren't busy on a recent saturday morning shift. doesn't take a genius .. bye bye ria's. too much great competition without catty waitstaff and exorbitant prices.

ria's bluebird is a local legend with an incredible following.  the diner is small, leaving the parking lot filled with diners waiting for a table.  i was lucky enough to visit after the brunch crowd one day with a friend, to which we ordered brunch.  we decided to split a few of their specials.  the biscuits and gravy was quite good, the gravy being vegetarian.  the biscuits were buttery and soft while extremely filling.  the pancakes were incredibly fluffy, though there was little syrup given (we likely needed more toppings to sweeten it).  the early bird special had plenty to offer, the eggs cooked to order with fried potatoes and bacon, a biscuit on the side.  thefoodwas incredibly filling and the service was fast.  i'd highly recommend this restaurant, but be prepared to wait!

delicious........don't let the small parking lot and dining space deter you from this wonderful spot. thefoodwas great, service was good and even though there was a wait to be seated, the wait was not that long.

maybe i'm biased to this place because i love breakfast, but this place is one of my favorite restaurants in atl. after i read the story about ria i felt even more in love with this place. they have amazing vegetarianfoodand also an amazing beef brisket dish for meat lovers. the atmosphere has a slight hipster feel and i loved it. thefoodthat comes out from those double doors is entirely satisfying and exceptional. it is talked about and true that they have the best pancakes. by far. i've taken my boyfriend here and it is a great place for a date. i've also taken my friend here who was visiting atlanta, and it is a great place to show tourists a great moment of atlanta.

have been looking forward to trying this place for years and it did not disappoint. sadly, i didn't get to stop by before going gluten free, so i missed the pancakes everyone raves about. but i did have their brisket, which comes in a big bowl with strips of the meat and two eggs over easy. it is also served with a baguette to soak up the broth, but i steered clear of that. the "soup" was delicious and the meat was tender and well seasoned. friendly service and was seated and had myfoodwithin 15 minutes at 12:45 on a sunday. can't wait to come back and try the huevos.

enclose the patio!!!. just experienced this restaurant for sunday brunch. we will not be returning. other than the long wait for a table (35 minutes in the 90 degree atlanta sun), there were other problems that made our experience bad. we were seated on the patio where at times it seemed hotter than the actual temparature. ownership should consider enclosing the patio and adding central air because it is absolutely uncomfortable eating in such steamy weather. it doesn't matter how good thefoodis, you can't enjoy it when you're boiling hot. i literally had to ask the waiter to return my menu after placing our order so i could use it as a fan! then to top things off, we waited quite awhile for ourfoodto be served. i didn't even take note of whether ourfoodwas good or not. i had pecan pancakes, eggs and soysage while my companion had the brisket and eggs. when we left, we both said practically simultaneously that we would not be coming back.

i was really disappointed this morning at rias. i had never been there but had heard awesome things. we came in through a glass door on right of building and sat down at a table. the restraunt was not full and there was no line. the woman who brought menus addressed us harshly and said "for future reference please wait to be seated! she kept up her rudeness until we got a server who was very nice. we liked ourfoodbut i will not soon forget

overall grade is a d! from long wait times, crowded seated areas, horriblefoodpresentation and the juice being way over prices ($3 for an x-small cup for oj!). the customer service was decent...i just think that this place is way overrated! would not return!

very goodfoodand plenty for vegetarians and vegans. the breakfast rush is insane. the restaurant is tiny and the wait times are long. rias deaerves their devoted following buy i hate to wait. save yourself the hassle and hit ria's on a weekday off work mid morning. nothing like a nice relaxed wednesday brunch. everything was good and super fresh here. it was upscale "farm to table" in spirit but not at all pretentious.

soooo good. i was told by several people that this was the best breakfastfoodyou could get in atlanta. despite my very high expectations i was still blown away by how good thefoodwas. the presentation was minimal and attractive. the flavors were complex and just right. the staff was also very nice but not the type to be overly eager and in your face. i'll be going back soon.

just ok...not worth a special trip. gave ria's a shot because of the great reviews, but found thefoodto be just okay. we had the beef brisket and poached eggs (tender but no punch of flavor), the blackened fish and grits (fish was covered in seasonings rather than blackened) and pancakes, which were the highlight. the atmosphere is cool, especially inside, but in terms of the food, there is nothing that puts this place above other popular breakfast restaurants.
