the steaks were cooked perfect, but the sides (green chili mac & cheese) was bland and poorly cooked. the pasta was over cooked and the sauce was grainy. we ordered the panna cotta which was, in my opinion, old since it was not smooth at all. this was served with a biscotti that was so tough we sent the whole dessert back. even though we didn't eat out side and dessert and informed the waitress the reasons why, nothing was discounted from our check. also, our $35 bottle of wine retailed for $10 at the liquor store. the markup on that is ridiculous. last time at this place

love this place. the asparagus and baby spinach will make a carnivore a vegetarian. great compliments to the steaks!!

red is for delicious!. the food and service was outstanding! our waiter offered suggestions and helped us select from the many delicious items. the presentation of the food was even lovely. the spinach side was the most amazing, as we had no expectations for it to be so light, crispy and flavorful. the atmosphere is definately urban, not something you'd expect in oklahoma. i could have done without the techo music in the background, but we mostly tuned it out. i can't wait to go back and try something else!

horrible service!. service was really slow! waited 45 minutes for an ok steak. waited almost as long for dessert. the restaurant was not busy. would have been alright with the industrial and cold ambience if the food would have been incredible. chose good reviews for food over ambiance for my 40th birthday and was disappointed.

it was our first time dining there and our waitress really made the experience truly special... she went out of her way to make the evening perfect! i was torn between the scallop special and the filet... they made a special plate with both for me! my husband and i had a perfect evening! thank you anna! i highly recommend this restaurant, the private booths are really great for an intimate dinner!

had dinner there for first time. upon entering was struck by the industrial decor which we like especially the wine rack behind the bar. however, we where greeted by a host that wreaked of cologne. we were seated promptly, which was a bit of a surprise since it was saturday night. our server was pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. we were pleased with the wine list and proceeded to order. all was pretty good until entrees came out. a ribeye was ordered, but a sirloin was served. only a few bites were taken and when the server asked to clear the table we asked that we only be charged for the sirloin....$12 less. she asked the manager, who came to the table and told us we were wrong. when we told him that we were quite knowledgeable about cuts of meet he stormed off. we didnt want the meal to be comped just to be charged for what was served. that ultimately took place- however upon leaving we tried to post a review on red's fb page and it was immediately removed. we certainly will not return to an establishment which clearly places more emphasis on the decor than qualified, gracious staff.

great atmosphere!. i love the atmosphere and the steak is fantastic. they always seem to be out of the wine that i want, but usually make good recommendations.

best in okc for steak. red prime has the best steaks in okc period. also, the dinning atmosphere is one of the best in the state. the staff knows what they are doing.

love it!. we loved this place! from the time we walked in to the time we left it was a great experience!

first off, our server was fantastic; very knowledgable of both the menu and the extensive wine list. i like to try new wines and she suggested one based on our taste. she nailed it. the manager was extremely friendly and, upon learning of my friend's and my background in the industry, offered to show us around the restaurant. the steak was good. they have several different crusts and sauces to choose from and despite my instinct, i "customized" my steak. i should have stuck with my gut because no matter how good the crust or sauce is, nothing beats the taste of a well-cooked, quality steak. i appreciate the idea and recognize that appeals to a lot of people but for me, it took away from the steak. the butternut squash risotto was a little sweeter than i expected and i'm not really into that for a side, but it was well-made. in fact, the only well-made risotto i've tasted in an oklahoma restaurant. the slivered asparagus was perfectly cooked and seasoned. great dining experience. a little pricier than similar minimalist concepts elsewhere but the quality of food and excellent attention and service made it excusable for a nice evening out.
