i really enjoy this restaurant! amazing space. the vibe is awesome, with three different big sections.
food is simple and classic. service is friendly and efficient! red hill epicurean caters for everyone.
love the cafe at the front. keep up the good work!

amazing food and very nice ambience. a perfect place to go with your friends and family. one should try the charcoal cooked pizza and apple cider.

this place is so amazing! came here for part of my hens weekend & the atmosphere is so good, the lighting, the greenery is all so nice!
we found that the service wasn't that good though- they brought out the wrong things, ignored us at times or were just rude. i was disappointed with this part, as i've heard such great things about this place!
the food was amazing though and it's defs worth coming to

what an absolutely delightful space epicurean is. it doesn’t look like much from the front but inside is a treasure trove of gourmet goodies for sale and then on to a huge open warehouse style restaurant with private dining rooms available for functions. always busy, you may have to battle for a table as they do not accept bookings unless you have a large group. we were lucky enough to be ushered straight in at 12pm and knowing dinner was planned for late that night i enjoyed the main size calamari while my sister opted for the entree. the waitress had mentioned the smaller serve was relatively substantial and many people order the entree size but i was glad i had ordered the larger even though i couldn’t quite finish it. at $38 it wasn’t cheap but you could definitely tell it was very fresh and tender. the charcoal base prawn pizza was also enthusiastically gobbled up and looked quite striking on the plate (i hear they are supposedly better for you too so there’s a great incentive to eat carbs).
the slow roasted lamb shank was visually stunning and by all accounts extremely delicious. you definitely don’t mind paying a bit of a premium when the quality and atmosphere is so exceptional.
definitely a favourite in the red hill area perfect for a weekend road trip

a large, warm western restaurant in the red hill winery area – complete with stoves decorating the borders and a huge woodfired pizza oven where you can see them making their pizza on the spot from scratch. i loved the high ceilings and the range of italian food options. the vibes were warm and fresh, the service was speedy and the food was presented beautifully and i could taste the care taken in preparing the lovely complexity of flavours, even though the portion sizes were quite small for the price.

amazing. ate way too much. the slow roasted lamb shank and brocolini was the highlight. everything was delicious. would recommend and can't wait to go back.

great light lunch on a friday. lightly grilled calamari, polenta chips and soft shell crab. campari spritz perfect. good ambience and nice service.

was visiting the red hill area on a weekend day trip, and decided to pop in to check out the epicurean. what a great space! rustic shed, set up with great big heaters, fireplaces roaring. great rustic food, wood fired pizzas and food prepped with care and local produce. we shared the antipasto, the wagyu pizza and the veal ravioli. all were tasty and generous in size. the staff were attentive and efficient. great place to share a meal, or to cool the heels in a group as they had great big long tables. will be back!

had an amazing visit to epicurean recently and the food was spectacular. fantastic pizzas and no fuss italian pasta and share plates. an amazing, lively open old warehouse style space with a great vibe. great for big groups and sharing a great meal. i'll definitely be back here!

a really beautiful place to dine for lunch or dinner after a day in the mornington peninsula.
came here with 2 friends after going on the new eagle chairlift. it was a cold and windy day so it made for the perfect venue with several fire places lit. we arrived at 1pm and fortunately got a table fairly easily but soon after it got ridiculously busy.
we ordered 2 glasses of the tempranillo blend and 1 glass of tempranillo. however, they apparently didn't have any of the tempranillo left? i ended up getting a glass of syrah which was very tasty.
between 3 people we shared a veal ravioli, wagyu bolognese gnocchi, polenta chips and the pizza special which was asparagus and panchetta pizza. everything was very well done but the favourite dish of everyone was the veal ravioli.

lovely afternoon spent with friends for a bithday celebration. we had the whole shed to ourselves for a group of about 50 people. we were provided with a set menu of, chartreuse boards, bread/dips, chard brussel sprouts, gnocchi, pasta, wild rice risotto, salads, 3 pizzas - veg, smoked salmon and bresaola. there wasa choice of house melot which was delicious and sparking water. finished off with boards with selections of petit fours. service was great and they catered to all dietary needs - vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and lactose free. will be back again!

we loved this place. all the food was great, so great i only had a small window to take some pictures. they are a well oiled machine here with service, tables and food all done really well.

disappointing sunday lunch
my wife and i had finished our meals before my son's pizza arrived, 25 mins after we had finished our meals ! holy cow . gave them the chance to deduct it from the bill or take some form of responsibility , however lady on the cash register told us that we should have been told that pizzas come "whenever they are ready ",
will not be back , hopeless as meals were slow anyway as nearly 90 mins to make a very ordinary margherita
